I woke up in the worse mood. The sun was burning through my curtains. I check my phone and see no new notifications.

I drag myself into the bathroom and start a shower.

Last night I didn't get all my work done for my business class. I cried myself to sleep.

Once I finished my shower I put on light make up and got dressed. I made my way down stairs to my mom. Smells like she's making food.

"Good morning mom." She turned around with a huge smile. She's too happy.

"Hi honey. What happened between you and Jack last night?"

"How do you know something happened?"

"He called me to check on you. He sounded really upset. I asked him why didn't just call you but he said you guys weren't talking."

I shrugged.

"Just a fight." I kept it short and simple.

"I hope you guys talk it out." He says and sets a cup of coffee in front of me.

I went onto Twitter and check a why don't we update account. My usual.

Jack Avery starts crying during air of the night but quickly recovers for their next song!!

I lock my phone and make conversation with my mom.

"You have you check up today." I remind her.

"I know i'm feelings a lot better of the treatments. I pray this cancer is up and out of me." I giggle and watch the TV we had in our kitchen.

"The boy band "Why Dont We" has been steeling girls hearts all over the world. Luckily we have the band here to perform a song and answer questions."

My mom turns and watches. "LOOK ITS JACK!" He jumps excited.

I swear she loves Jack more than me.

"So to clear the air which ones omg you guys is taken."

Both Corbyn and Jack raise their hands. I roll my eyes but stay quiet.

"Serious or no?"

Corbyn starts "my girlfriend, Christina and I have been together for more then a year so I would say we are pretty serious and even though our relationship is filled with jokes." He laughs and the boys join.

"And Jack?"

"Yes Aaliyah And I's relationship is very serious. Actually today is out 5 month anniversary." He smiles "she's wonderful and I really love her."

The boys all stare at Jack as he answers. Not in a bad way but surprised.

"Honey, you see he really loves you." My mom says

I wonder why he was saying this. We technically broke up last night. Did he not understand what "don't talk to me again." meant?

"Yeah."

I put my empty mug in the sink and grabbed my keys.  "I'm going out for a bit but I'll be back to go with you for your check up."

"You're not gonna watch the rest? They are performing."

"No."

I walked out of the house and to my car. I need to distract myself from all this.

I put my songs on shuffle and just to see you smile played. Of course. The song Jack sang to me when he asked me out.

Almost a hour passed and I was still driving to no where.

The music stopped and I look to my phone and saw Jonah was calling me.

"Hello?"

I pul to the side of the road and and put my hazards on.

"Aaliyah?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you watch?"

"Until the part jack called me his girlfriend."

"Listen tomorrow be at the airport at 6 am. I'll have our private jet be there to get you. You need to work things out with him."

"I don't have to do anything. Don't bother Jonah."

"Seriously? You are going to let your relationship just die?"

"This isn't your fight Jonah. Jack and I are over. Happiness never lasts. There is no hope."

"There is."

"No there isn't. How am I suppose to pretend everything is okay? So much has been happening in my life and same thing with Jack. He's living his dream and he shouldn't be tied down to a depressed  girl."

"The thing is he doesn't feel like he's being tied down by you. He doesn't feel like you are stoping or interfering with his life at all. He loves you and he's so happy with you."

"Well I can't say the same."

I hung up the phone and sat in silence. I slap my hand against the steering wheel and broke down.
