Thunderstorms and I Love You

Blue's P.O.V

I sat in bed silently crying, with no one in the house. Suddenly a loud crack filled my ears, the cracks that made me scream, grab my blanket and cuddle into my bean bag chair, too scared to sleep in my bed. It's almost 10pm and all my brothers have plans and my parents won't be home until 3 am from a flight. Cameron, Emma and Josh were all hanging out and Cameron had told me he's terrified of thunderstorms so that means he probably has both Emma and Josh calming him down. Lightning flashed throughout my room, making me scream and crying harder. The door to the house swung open and someone walked in. I got up out of bed and grabbed the plywood and put it over the entrance. I sat down on the plywood as I hugged my knees to my chest. There where knocks on the plywood just as a voice yelled up.

"Blue! It's me Josh! Move the plywood from the entrance," Josh yelled.

I got up and grabbed the plywood and put it to the side. Josh had a backpack with him, a sweatshirt in his right hand and his black beats in another. Thunder cracked and lightning brightened up my room. I screamed and crouched to the floor crying harder. Josh put his stuff down quickly and picked me up. He quickly walked over to my beanbag chair and put me down. He grabbed my blanket from my bed and wrapped it around me. Thunder rumbled again and I began to cry even harder. Josh quickly opened his bag and pulled out three black sheets. He ran to all three windows and pinned the sheets in front of the window. He then handed me the sweatshirt and I put it on and inhaled the scent. I smiled softly as Josh kicked off his shoes and sat down next to me in the beanbag. He pulled some of the blanket over him and pulled me into his stomach. I put my ear where his heart should be and listened to it thump.

"Well I heard there was a secret chord, that David played and it pleased the Lord," Josh sang quietly.

I listened to not only Josh's heartbeat but also him singing.  Half way through the song I stopped crying and I just sat there, listening. I couldn't hear the thunder over Josh. Josh drowned out the thunder. I smiled softly as the song came to an end. I looked up at Josh and smiled softly. He kissed my forehead and squeezed me tightly.

"Are you okay?' He asked in a whisper.

"I'm better now that you are with me," I whispered back and kissed his nose.

He smiled before saying, "Emma was debating to come and calming you down but I told her to say with Cameron and who knows what they are doing right now," Josh chuckled.

"PG stuff I hope," I chuckled also.

"If Cam is flipping out, they won't be doing anything like that anytime soon," Josh chuckled.

"Okay, can we just talk about how I still haven't gone shopping and I still have the Victoria Secret's card. What should I buy with it?" I asked Josh as I looked up at him.

Josh blushed a light shade of red, "I-I don't k-know. It's not like I will be seeing it anytime soon. No offense."

"None taken. Plus, my brothers would literally pummel you," I laughed softly, "Would it be okay if I went shopping online right now?"

"I just don't want to see boobs please," Josh shuddered.

"I probably won't buy bras from there unless they match the underwear," I shrugged as I got up and grabbed my laptop.

A loud crack of thunder rang throughout my room, making me yelp which cause me to send my laptop flying. Josh stuck his hand out and caught my laptop.

"The fuck?" I laughed.

"I have good reflexes," Josh shrugged.

I shook my head and sat down next to Josh. I took my laptop, lifted the top and logged in. I opened Google Chrome and searched 'Victoria Secret'. I clicked their website and Josh instantly put his face in the crook of my neck. I chuckled softly and clicked onto the PINK section. I scrolled through their thongs as a pair of lips met my neck, making me jolt away.
