I woke up to the day of the operation. I was ready and so were my friends. We rode to school together and parked our bikes in the closest slots to the playground. We had all the materials we needed. At lunch I quickly chomped down my food to get on the recess line. As soon as everyone got onto the playground we inched closer to the parking lot.
"We need to get closer to the parking lot" Phil whispered.
We darted across the playground as if we were racing. The lunch paras didn't think we were escaping. We stopped in our tracks when we saw the guard was watching the parking lot. We'd be caught if we were seen. So we decided to wait for when the guard went inside. We dashed to our bikes and got on them.
We needed to head to the safe zone. Automatic thoughts were popping into my head such as "What if we were caught?", "Would we get in-school suspension", etc. We crossed the road and started peddling to get to the safe zone. The only problem was that it was near the forest.
