It's the countdown for new year. We decided to play some matches while waiting for it.
First, we gotta play basketball. Team 1 consisted of the girls: Matilda, Ruby, Stella, Poppy, and Dahlia. Team 2 consisted of the boys: Red, Chuck, Hal, Bomb, and Terrence.
Stella PoV
It seemed hard to beat Team 2. Just see, Terrence is obviously strong. Red can run very fast. Hal is very good at aiming. Bomb's power increases when he's on a high temper. And Chuck, umm... i..i always get nervous around my love ;)
Well, this is just for fun, I know. So I'm not taking this too serious. But I'll still put my efforts to impress my lovely Chuck!

The match had started. The two teams were ready, while the supporters (Stella's squad & the Rio Team) were cheering them.
"3, 2, 1, Go!" yelled Tony, the referee for this game. Both teams were on high spirits. Stella was still nervous as she came across Chuck while the first dribble.

The match went on, and the final results were 2 (girls team) - 0 (boys team). Sweet victory for Stella's team! Stella didn't even believed it. On the other side Chuck was green with envy.
Chuck approached Stella, and gave her a hug. "Congratulations," he said. Stella could still see the envy look on Chuck's face *lol* Stella pinched his cheek playfully.
Shirley called us. The dinner for New Year's Eve was ready. We all went to her luxurious dining room, which had 20 chairs, and a very long table.
Shirley liked the color red. The curtains were royal red, and so was the tablecloth. There were some vases of red roses, too. Twins Red and Ruby loved the interior, as it really matched them.
Red PoV
Nice interior! It would be nice to have a dining room like this! So comfy, moreover if you were eating here with your family (I meant, friends. They were family to me).
Shirley was a great chef. She cooked various dishes for us. We ate many mouth-watering dishes, from around the world. Sushi, Bulgogi, and Satay were my favourite. I also enjoyed the jumbo-sized pizza. There were a lot of toppings on it!
After I had finished eating, I took a look at the clock. 9 p.m. Still got 3 hours left. We played more games, such as riddles and mystery, sharing horror stories near the fireplace, and a lot of other fun stuffs.
2 and half an hour passed. We decided to take the BBQ grill and fireworks. Shirley also gave each of us a sparkler. She grilled some sausages and corns.

The sausages and corns were ready. I looked again at the timer I had set in my iPhone. We've got 10 seconds left. "Burn the fireworks! Quick!" I screamed at Bomb.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
