My mind was working fast once I was back in my room. Pale face...bloodlust...allergic to sun...cold skin...
VAMPIRES!!!
"THEY DON'T EXIST," I shouted to the empty room.
Hastily I searched through Google. All it showed me was folklore and legends. I was disappointed but continued combing the internet...
Scanning through desperately, I came across a small topic...'Clinical Vampirism'. Lo behold!
I clicked on it with shaking hands and it showed two diseases. They would make the affected person to show symptoms like a vampire. Porphyrism and Renfield's syndrome.
Lust for self-blood which soon transcends to animal and even human's...no appetite for food...genetic disease...remains dormant...triggered by a bite by another infected person...allergic to sun...garlic worsens condition.
That was it. That was all the explanation for the myths surrounding the cold ones.
I put on my cloak and grabbed my backpack. I had to let Judy know. The death in the morning was becoming clearer.
Judy had greater enemies than the disease.
Dales' Mansion, here I come.
To be continued...
