chapter 7

Emmas POV
Ugh why does my head hurt so much, how long have I been out?,what happened? "Hey look who's awake"? Someone says in a soft tone. I shift over to look and see its my brother Aaron. "Hey Aaron,how are you"? I ask "I should be asking you that question" he says as he hugs me. "You scared us shitless Emma, We thought we were gonna lose you". Aaron says as he starts to cry. "Aaron I'm so sorry please don't cry, you know our twin telepathy thing makes me cry too". I say. "I'm sorry I just can't imagine losing you, you are the only closest family I have and the nicest, dad isn't that nice,I wish we had mom".Aaron sniffles out "Yeah me too". I say quietly. Then he points to the door and says "The family wants to see you and so does your boyfriend, would you like me too go and get them"? "Yeah sure that would be great".  I replied As soon as he left I started to cry luckly everyone is in the waiting room 2 floors down. I didn't mean to hurt the boys I just thought they would be better off without me. "No we wouldn't be better off without you". Hayes voice startles me "did I just say that out loud"? I ask "yes baby,but nobody would want you to leave we love you especially me and your brother". Hayes holds out his hand and I gladly take it and interlock our hands. "Hey,hey look who's up". Cameron and Nash and Taylor say "Hey guys". I say weakly shifting on my side cause it hurts to lay on my left side. "We missed you, your laughter and your stupid jokes it's been lonely without you". Nash says "how long have I been out"? I ask "3 weeks". Hayes said "oh". I say Just then the doctor walks in "Hey Emma good to see your awake I have to talk to the boys so imma take them outside". He says "ohh okay" I say
Aarons POV
"Excuse me for the words that I'm about to say". The doctor starts out. "Emma has an estimate of a month to live". The doctor says with a sour face "What, what do you mean she looks perfectly fine" I say with tears in my eyes "due to her hitting a major vein it infected her system with some bad virus and it's killing her to where she can't feel it". He explains "isn't there a cure or any other way" I beg "please she's all I have of my real family". I cry out "there is one way, it's a risky surgery it could put her at major risk of being paralyzed". He states "whatever can keep her alive please". I say Hayes just breaks down and slides down the wall. I run to him and hold him "Go into Emma's room she needs you the most now". I say "I don't want her to leave she's the best thing besides magcon that ever happened to me" Hayes stutters out "I know but we will get through this together, you've been with her for 7 months now, side by side you've always been there, you need to be there more then ever now". I finish "okay" Hayes says We both walk into my sisters room and the thing we just saw shocked all of us.
