Chapter 2: Soul Society
No one will win a war, if no one has a purpose to win.
Kay's P.O.V
I sat on my new Soul Society bed in my pajamas, my knees against my chest and my form rocking
like a rocking chair. I had always slept in a new place with Ookami but I didn't know where he was right now.
I stared at the wall, thrying to figure out where they could have put him. Then, there was a knock on the door. I got up
and opened the door just to see the person I wanted to see the entire time. "Ookami." I said and hugged him. He hugged
me back. "Hey, kay. How's it going." He asked. HE tried to step back, but I held onto him. "Umm, kay?" He said, but I kept on
him. Then, his confusion turned to understanding. "Listen, I can't stay, but I'll see you in the morning. I'm in Squad 10." He paused.
"What Squad are you in?" He asked. I laughed. "Squad 10." I told him and he started laughing too. "Wow, that's inconvinent." He laughed.
"Yeah." I said and yawned. He smiled. "How about you go to bed? You look like you haven't slept in weeks!" He said and I lared at
him. "That's mean, you know." I said. He just laughed. "Get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning." He said and walked away
Leaving me standing inthe doorway, smiling. I closed the door and walked to my bed. I stared at it for about 5 minutes,
wondering what was going to happen in the morning. They were probably gonna make us fight to find out out
places. I sighed as I climbed into bed. You can't stop the impossible. No matter how hard you try.
Dream Begins
I stood on a cliff, overlooking karakura town. My hometown. The place where I live.
I watched as kids ran around, having fun. I watched people throw snow at each other.
Then, I saw a shadow go over me. I turned around to see the Soul Society. I saw
Ookami, Taicho, Momo, Rangiku, and so many others. I saw my life, I saw everything
I had done there. I smiled at it all. Then, I looked back at Karakura. There stood
Karin, Yuzu, Rukia, Isshin, Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, Oriheme, Tatsuki, and much, much more.
Then, I looked to my left and saw Grand Fisher, Fisher D, Menos Grande. The 2 that had
ended my life that one December day. December 5th. The worst part about that day.
It was my Birthday, and my Death Day. And it was tomorrow.
Dream Ends
I kept my eyes closed, though I knew I couldn't stop this day from coming at me. I kept my eyes closed, though I knew
I could not prevent this at all. So I relutantly go up and got dressed, getting ready for my 1st day and my worst day.
Everyone knew 1st days always led to problems, and to add to that, today was December 5th. I was now 13 and it had been
1 year since I died. I let a tear slid down my face, but whipped it away and walked toward Squad 10. I sighed and took a
deep breath and finally, I opened the door. Ookami was the 1st to notice my extrance and he frowned. "Hi." He said. "Hi." I said.
Matsumoto looked from one of us to another. "What's going on between you two?" She asked and Taicho tensed. "Matsumoto,
if they don't want to talk about it, then, leave them be." He said. I shook my head. "No, it's okay." I said. I turned toward
Matsumoto. "Today, is my birthday-" I said. "Well, you should be happy! Not sad!" she said. I glared at her.
"Today, is my birthday and my...my death day." I said and she covered her mouth. Taicho looked at me.
"You died on your Birthday?" He asked. I nodded and he looked sad for me. But I just smiled. "You don't have to be sad for me.
It's okay. It happened over a year ago, as well, so I'm use to it. I said and everyone looked at me like I was on my Death Bed.
I just rolled my eyes. "So, are we being tested today? To see which seat we are?" I asked and Taicho nodded.
We got to the training grounds and I saw seat from the 10th seat to the 3rd seat. Ookaim was first and he made it to the
4th seat. Then, it was my turn. Most of them were easy, and I finally got to Ookami. Everyone was surprised that I had gotten to him,
and then I released my Zanpak-to. That surprised them even more. Behind my stood a Giant Black and Red wolf and I sicked
it on Ookami, knocking him out cold. Then, it was the 3rd seat. I have to admit he was hard. He even stopped my Wolfs
attack. But then, I got out my Shikai. "Cover them n Darkness, Kurai Kitsune." I said and a giant black void sucked the 3rd seat in.
Taicho took a step forward.
Toushirou's P.O.V
I took a step forward. Kay looked like she had lost it and she wasn't going to stop till she was facing me myself. But then,
Ookami ran forward and grabbed her by the shoulders. The entire room had turned pitch black by then and had sucked
up my 6th, 7th, 5th, 8th, and 9th seats. He took Kay by the shoulders and shook her. "Kay! Kay! Snap out of it!" He shouted.
He then slapped her across the face and she seemed to snap out of it. A giant black void opened up over Matsumoto and
all of my seats that had been sucked up, came out, landing on top of her, making me smile. I heard a giggle and saw Kay
covering her mouth with her hand. I smiled even more and she took her hand away too show a smile. I looked at my passed
out lutenit and sighed, shaking my head. Now, I had too carry her back too, at least, my office. Kay then came up too me.
"If you want, I'll carry her. t's the least I could do, besides, I m the one that knocked her out in the first place." Kay said and
I smiled, nodding. "I would like that, a lot." I said and we walked away, Kay dragging Matsumoto. I looked at her. "I thought
you said carry?" I asked. She looked at me like I was crazy. "If I carried her, I'd sufficate myself too death." She said and we
both laughed. Maybe she would be of some use.
