What Is There To Lose

Erwin's POV (point of view)~

It was the night of the mission you had been sent out to do everyone except for Hanji was ready to leave, you had never really thought of Hanji as someone to really ever bother with her looks. A few minutes had past and you were worried Hanji might of fell as she can not see a few feet away without her glasses. Suddenly you hear a door creak open and their she stood above the stairs staring down below, it was like something out of the books. Hanji profusely apologised for being late but all you could think about was how beautiful she looked, she always looked amazing in Erwin's eyes no matter what state of mind she was in but you had never seen her wear such a beautiful piece of clothing.

You soon had came to the conclusion that it was worth the wait to see her like this, Mike and Levi had now noticed how much you were staring at Hanji and Mike gave you just a little nudge to pull you back to reality, they both chuckled slightly but you couldn't help notice that Nile was in the same position you were looking at Hanji like she was a goddess. (Which you strongly already agreed she was)

Hanji's POV~

You and Nanaba didn't really have any dresses in your closet let alone fancy ones so you took it upon yourselves to stop by Wall Sina to hopefully find something that suited your complexion and body type. Until a a white dress (that went to your thighs at the front and and gradually made its way down to the floor at the back) with no straps caught your eye. You and Nanaba decided it would be fun to have the same outfits just with different colours, so Nanaba picked out the exact same dress but instead of an elegant white she went with a dark and mysterious black.

You then purchased white high heeled boots that went up to your knees to match with the dress you had gotten, Nanaba of course doing the same but with black as you thought this would collide well with your dresses, you thought this would look alright but nothing compared to the other girls you would encounter. You had no idea why this thought came to your head to never cared less what you look like you just suddenly had an urge to impress someone but who you asked yourself.

Nanaba was trying her best to quickly put everything on while still trying to help you with everything while the two of you were in Nanaba's room you  struggled to get your heels on, seeing as you were already late you had your hair up in the usual high pony like on the missions with your glasses and then made your way to the dining hall where you saw your fellow comrades waiting. Your eyes immediately darted to Erwin you thought he looked amazing, his body was facing you but his head was turned to the left away from everyone including you, it seemed like he didn't care about your presence.

You soon made your way to the bottom of the stairs with Nanaba where you quickly started conversation with Mike until you made your way to central Wall Sina, staring up at the marble building with what seemed like quite a few fancy dressed people making their way inside, soon yourself, Erwin, Mike, Nile and Levi had entered the building where the mission would start.

Erwin's POV

You now had made your way inside the massive marble building, you thought it had looked amazing on the outside but the inside was even better. ( marble floors and stained glass all on the circular roof shape.) Before leaving you were informed by commander Pixis that they would be here planning to hopefully capture some important people for who knows what.

You couldn't stop looking at Hanji who was standing near the entrance of a balcony ( with tiled stone floors with marble pillars attached to each other by smaller marble pillars at the edge to keep guests from falling off with a few tall plants in navy blue pots for decoration in a semi-circle shape.) You thought to yourself why you couldn't just tell her how you felt maybe because you were scared of rejection and losing her despite the fact that she was never yours.

Hanji had made her way to the the balcony by now probably not wanting to be around people, so now it was just her staring out with wind blowing through her hair just looking out at the dark night sky. Suddenly a rush of adrenaline kicked in, you had enough just admiring her from a distance and wanted to be more than friends, you took a deep breath and made your way over to her and told yourself
