An Old Rivalry

(Let me just go back in time to brief you about their history: Nile and Erwin have been friends since their training days when they both were very eager to join the scouts this is where they met Hanji, Nanaba and Mike. Erwin and Mike instantly became amazing friends I can't exactly say the same for Nile and Mike though.

Both Nile and Erwin both fell in love with Hanji which makes them the first to people to have ever been attracted to Hanji especially with her unique personality. Nile had asked Hanji on a few dates which Hanji had agreed to every time without knowing they were actually dates due to the fact that Nile had just told Hanji it was just to discuss training but telling Erwin it was a date.

Hanji would still talk to Erwin but Erwin could never tell Hanji how she felt because she thought she had fallen in love with Nile which she hadn't. Days before they were going to graduate Erwin out of nowhere had asked Hanji how her dates were going because he was just about done with not asking because Nile never said a thing about their "dates" together.

Hanji looked so confused and was wondering if Erwin had hit his head in training, Erwin then explained that Nile said you had been going on numerous dates together. Hanji just laughed and told Erwin that Nile had told her they were just hanging out to discuss training. Erwin was feeling so many emotions at this point, he was happy but enraged but also felt calm knowing that the love of his life was still available and could maybe just maybe fall for him just as hard as he fell for her.

Erwin just to make sure asked Hanji if she had a thing going on with Nile Hanji chuckled a bit reassuring Erwin that she was still on the market and no romantic feelings for Nile what so ever.)

Fast Forward To Graduation~

Hanji had always been keen on joining the survey corps to learn more about the titans and the outside world, this was also the moment Nile wanted to be safe for Hanji despite the fact that she would be wandering around the walls every few days but he wanted to be their for her
when she needed it, so he decided to join the Military Police. Mike Erwin and Hanji graduated the training corps and were now qualified to explore the outside without permission. Just to let you guys know neither Nile or Erwin has confessed to Hanji during the graduation at that time.

Year 850 (when the 104th cadets graduated)~

Nile and Erwin have both become commanders Hanji levi and mike section commanders of their own squads. Nanaba being apart of Mikes elite squad But neither Nile or Erwin have yet to tell Hanji the truth, Mike and levi had discovered that both Nile and Erwin had fallen in love with Hanji and made jokes about it when Erwin was close to Hanji (them obviously rooting for Erwin to win Hanji's heart) but luckily Hanji is extremely oblivious to the jokes.

One day commander Pixis orders Hanji, Nanaba, Mike, Levi, Erwin and Nile to go under cover within wall Sina to discover some information about a thief that had stolen valuable information from the government that could be used against them. The set-up for this being a grand ball held inside the direct centre of wall Sina meaning fancy suits and dresses everywhere including Hanji, Nanaba, Mike, Levi, Erwin and Nile.
