Something inside Ju immediately clicked with Kyungsoo's words and she remembered knowing all the boys. As friends. She just didn't remember Baekhyun. She couldn't. Something inside her was stopping it, pulling her down like ropes, tying up her mind.

'Are you okay?' Luhan asked her in Mandarin.
'I think I missed you guys. That's all, I don't remember much but I know I was close to you all. It all just came back to me, it's quite overwhelming.' She replied in Korean so everyone could understand.

Jongin put his hand on her shoulder in comfort.
'I'm sorry to hear about it'.

'And your father,' Sehun gently spoke, remembering the invites to the funeral that they couldn't attend.

'It's okay, thank you, all of you. I think I really missed you all'.

Some more shards of glass fit together in Ju's head, the boys and working at SM as their sort of caretaker, if you will, a person who makes sure they eat at the right times and get to places on time.
Shit. It was really fun.

Ju grinned uncontrollably at herself as she remembered some fun and bad times, birthdays and arguments, coming together as one family.

After the ex-members headed out to their respectable places, the remaining boys were all chilling in the living room, ready to leave for their show.

'Will you be watching us?' Minseok asked softly.
'Hell no, monsta x and seventeen are performing tonight,' Ju grinned and headed back to 'her' room.

Ju did watch exo, and marvelled at how mature and hot they had all become in the time she was away. Her eyes were glued to the screen, jaw dropped in awe at their talent and skill on stage. She found herself doubting if she really knew them anymore as the end came to their performance.

'Ahhhgh,' Baekhyun flopped down on his bed, head first, mumbling strings of words Ju couldn't make out. He was clearly stressed and frustrated about something, and she remembered how stressful it really was for the boys, how hard they all work.

'What's up?' Ju cautiously asked.
'Guess you really didn't watch our show huh?'
'No, I did, you guys were amazing! So much better than I rememb-'
'We made so many mistakes, we got told to be better next time by our manager but we didn't even realise what went wrong. Apparently we were pretty bad.'
'That's not what I saw?' Ju furrowed her brows, sighing at the sight of a confused and anxious Baekhyun.

She left him lying there to get a bottle of juice for him, and by the time she brought it back he was gone.

She sighed and debated flopping on her bed too, before her feet took her out of his room and up a flight of stairs she forgot existed. It took her to a roof, where Baek was sat, staring at the stars.

He groaned, when he felt a presence behind him.

She slumped herself down next to him and flipped her hair back from the breeze.

'What's your name?' She mocked his words from the 'first' night they met.

'I really didn't recognise you until you said your name, you know'.
'I really can't remember you properly, Byun Baekhyun. My mind won't let me, but it's only you. I don't know why. I don't want to know why'.
'Maybe we should properly run away, from everything, like that night but forever.'

'Maybe you should sleep.'
