♥ ღ ♥♥ Chapter Two ღ ♥♥ ღ ♥♥
I ditched afternoon classes with him, it can’t be real but I did it for the first time. Knowing I will run on someone in class who just saw the whole incident. I never ditched classes in my fckin’ life’s history, no matter how Yvaine tries to bribe me with those milk tea drinks or a Starbucks’ dark mocha frapp in a venti size.
But I am ditching now with this stranger who looks like an angel more like a hot angel, the thing is that I was the one who drag him out of the blue without asking his opinion. I bet if he did not like me dragging him for the first place, he could just resist , like duuuh Maen's power over women's which was unbelievable for me to believe that he did not. I guess, we think the same. Like running away.
We stopped by, on one of my favorite dessert shop in town; 3 blocks away from school. It has lots of sweet things inside that I’ve been craving like marshmallow chocolate dip, fried Oreos with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which is my favorite, fried blueberry pancakes formed like a weaved mat that matches a scoop of ice cream also which was the best-seller of the store and other delicacies, “Calories baby” but I never I get fat no matter what I eat.
It’s not just the food that I like in this shop but also the ambiance of the store which gives me a hippie feeling. They had colorful frames hang up in there walls saying “Stay Inspired”. “Sweets for a Big Tummy” mine was small and an Okay;okay symbol from The Fault in Our Stars’ cover; They also have proverbs painted on their white walls and they have this vintage cuckoo clock which was cute to look at,in the middle of the shop. What ruins the feeling is the Grumpy cashier boy which is Troy who was one hundred percent hitting on me last week which I rejected, probably that’s why he’s been that grumpy at me. He hates being rejected; probably I’m the first girl to decline his flirty talks.
This angel and I sat down on a wood pastel colored chairs and place our plates on a round pink table filled with mouth-melting slice of chocolate cake. This Angel-like being sat in front of me and I began to suck my food; he doesn’t touch his. Oblivious of his presence I ate my slice of CC like every bite was a waterfall of sweet chocolate.
“You really enjoy the food a lot.” He spoke half amaze.
“It makes the food look more delicious when you’re the one eating it.” He added
I raised an eyebrow. “Seriously?” I asked.
“Yes. You were closing your eyes like you’re savoring the moment.”
Of course baby, I didn’t eat my lunch because of the bloody incident, I should really savor the moment with my food now.
“Want my share?” he offered.
My stomach lit up with happiness knowing it would get more of this yummy treats. I smiled at him like a kid and muttered thank you. He was eyeing me the whole time of my existence eating the cake, I glands at him and the look of his face was seem nervous like he wants to ask me something and at the same time I want to ask something on him too.
What’s his name? The question is spinning in my mind for the whole time of him staring at me. I should ask him his name. He spoke; I spoke.
“What’s your name?” We said in synchronization.
“You first.” He says.
“You first.” I repeat.
“Ladies first!”
“That’s not fair!” I pouted like a child; crossing my arms and leaning my back at the back of my chair. Narrowing my eyes on him and keeping my mouth shut. I’m not telling mine until he tells me his.
