Charlotte POV
I awoke to the curtains being opened and the sun shining in my room. I fluttered my eyes open and saw Adian sitting next to me with a smile on his face. "Good morning, dear." I smiled and said, "Good morning, Aiden." I get out of bed and I hear my back popping. "Rough night?" Aiden smirked. I stuck my tongue at him, which makes him reach for me and pull me back to bed. I start shrieking and Aiden says, "No one can hear you, silly girl." As I am pushed back towards the bed, I run my fingers through his slick brown hair as he stares at me. "What's wrong?" I asked. He kisses my hand and says, "Nothing. I was actually going to ask you something." I sat up and asked, "What's wrong?" Aiden smirked and said, "I love you, Charlotte. I knew it the moment I saw you and when you answered back to me in your cute and feisty way. I had sent you those notes to make you run towards me and that didn't work. I had no choice but to take you. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I want us to start fresh and for us to be open and truthful with each other. Can you forgive me?" I look at Aiden, who is now being honest with me and kind. Though he told me that he was mentally sick, I didn't mind. I wanted to take care of him. I was starting to feel love for him. "I forgive you, Aiden." Aiden hugged me and breathed a sigh of relief. "So, what do you want to do today?" I widened my eyes and said, "Well, I need to move my aunt's items out of her house if she is living here." Aiden smiled and said, "Already had my men move her furniture and other items out last night and her home is on the market. She's at a storage facility sorting her boxes right now." I shook my head and asked, "What about my clothes?" Aiden clapped his hands and replied, "You need new clothes. I'll take you shopping and to lunch, while I have a decorator fix your aunt's room and our bedroom. What do you say?" I smiled and said, "I'll go pretty up." Aiden left me to shower and dry my hair. I placed my hair in a bun so it could be curly. I picked a lace shirt with open shoulders and blue jeans and tennis shoes for walking. I walked downstairs and saw Aiden making coffee for us. He was wearing a gray suit with jeans and brown leather shoes. He smiled at me as I was walking towards him. "Do you always wear a bun?" He asked curiously. "When I want it curly, yes," I replied. He handed me my coffee with cream from Dunkin Donuts and some sugar cubes. I gently stirred my coffee and drank it. He received a call on his phone and began speaking what seemed like Italian. I could only make out the words, money, car, and kitten. He hung up the phone and looked at me. I finished drinking and asked, "What's wrong, Aiden?" He sighed and said, "I have to deal with some..business and then we can go shopping. You ready to go?" He asked me. I drank my cup of coffee and nodded my head. Aiden handed me my purse and phone then we walked out. Billy walked next to me and kept scanning. "I don't need protection. I'm okay, Billy." He placed his hand on my shoulder and whispered, "Aiden has been receiving threats about his marrying you. He was-" "BILLY!" We both turned around and saw Aiden, fuming over Billy speaking with me. My cheeks turn red with embarrassment, while Billy says, "She has a right. She's your wife, or simply a fuck-toy?" Aiden glares at Billy and says, "Go to the house and stay there. I'll take Vlad with us." Billy nods his head and walks away. What did he mean that was being threatened because he married me? Was I in danger? Aiden took me into the limo and said, "We have to go to Staten Island. Then, we can go shop for some new clothes for you. When we arrive in Staten Island, you must promise me that you will stay in the limo. Do not get out." I shook my head in compliance. Aiden kissed me on the lips and I responded by kissing him back. He has really grown on me and I feel more secure with him. Yet, I still wonder though; why all the secrets if I am his wife?
