No Room For Real Emotions

An abhorrent state has overtaken my body. I can't find myself in this state of mind, but I knew who had to be the cause of it: my master, my creator. For it was he who controlled my emotion. I am merely a toy to him. Someone he can use to his advantage.

"Jungkook!" I hear him call me followed by the laughter of his friends.

"Yes, Master?" I am programmed to call him that, although I know his name. Kim Taehyung.

"We are about to watch a debate, I've programmed you into a abhorrent state of mind so that you can say what the two candidates say that would offend others. I also need you to keep a tally of who says the most offensive things," he then turned away from me, that's how I knew he had no more to sa to me, "whoever says the least amount of offensive things is who I vote for, you guys can use his results too if you like."

Throughout the debate I heard accounts of racism, sexual violence, and points against lgbtq+ rights. Once it was finished all eyes look to m expectantly.

"Candidate one was accused of having touched a woman inappropriately, but no evidence was used to support it. Candidate two was accused of having beat an African American, there was video proof of the incident, but he claimed he did it in self defense. The topic had no final verdict, so it is your decision whether you believe the fact or not. Candidate one is against homosexual marriages; candidate two is for homosexual marriages. Your view on homosexual marriages cannot be decided by me. Overall, both had one clear offense, and the best way to make your decision would be to know your stance on homosexual marriage." Once I was done with my purpose Master waved me back to the experimental room, but I was surprisingly called back.

"Jungkookie, who would you vote for?" It was not Taehyung who had asked, but rather his friend Kim Seokjin. I didn't know how to respond, so I stayed silent and looked towards Master.

"Jin Hyung... he can't answer that, I haven't programmed him to have opinions."

"So... he'd not even, real?" I wanted to tell him I am real, but I'm hidden behind this shell I'm forced into. I wanted to cry and explain, but I couldn't. Taehyung had made it where he controlled my emotions, I could show nothing other than what he needed.

"Of course he's not real, don't be ignorant Jin Hyung, he's a programmed being. He only feels what I tell him to. If you'd like I can put him into logical setting and he can tell you who would be most logical to vote for." I wanted to cry when he said I wasn't real. He knows I am! He made me this way! But I could show neither my sadness nor my anger, for I was bound to the clicked that sat on the coffee table. A little water spill and I could be gone forever. A  little drop and I would be emotionless forever. Or maybe stuck in just one emotion, I don't know and hopefully never will.

I saw Jin shake his head, but not before I saw a look of pity flash in his eyes. I was dismissed back to the experimentation room for good this time.

It was the next day. I had been left in an optimistic mood overnight and it had carried on until morning. I was called out to attend to Taehyung. The laughter carried throughout the house signaled his friends were here as well.

"Jungkook, I give Min Yoongi, Park Jimin, Jung Hoseok, Kim Seokjin, and Kim Namjoon permission to make you feel one emotion and ask you a question based off that emotion." I was left in a state of shock, well internal me was, as you know I couldn't show it on the outside. They could potentially let out anger and sadness, and... love. Yes, I had fallen in love with Taehyung, but he doesn't know that, it was after he reprogrammed me.
