The third night ...I walked into the coffee shop across the street from Freddy's asusual, only tonight, while I was placing my order, I felt a strange tingling sensation on my head, right on the top of the oddly shaped scar I had on the right side of my head. I scratched at it gently andit stopped tingling. Shortly after I had paid for my coffee ... a large caramel-mocha with chocolate whipped cream ... my scar acted up again. I scratched it, wondering why it would only now start to bother me. I took my coffee, tasted it, nodded, and left to go across the street where the last employees were leaving Freddy Fazbear'sPizza. my large caramel-mocha with chocolate whipped cream is great, but extremely rich. I checked the monitor and saw that Chica had left her spot on the stage already. Just as I started to search for her, the phone rang right on schedule. I picked up the phone and prepared myself for tonight's message.
Hello, hello? Hey you're doing great! Most people don't last this long. I mean, you know, they usually move on to other things by now. I'm not implying that they died. Th-th-that's not what I meant. Anyway I better not take up too much of your time. Things start getting real tonight.
Uh... Hey, listen, I had an idea: if you happen to get caught and want to avoid getting stuffed into a Freddy suit, uhh, try playing dead! You know, go limp. Then there's a chance that maybe they'll think you're an empty costume instead. Then again if they think you're an empty costume, they might try to... stuff a metal skeleton into you. I wonder how that would work. Yeah, never mind, scratch that. It's best just not to get caught.
Uh ok, I'll leave you to it. See you on the flip side.
I sighed and thought to myself, "That's comforting...." I thought it was kind of funny that he told me to do something, then just to forget it and don't get caught. I took a sip of my coffee and began my search for Chica again.
As I pulled up the monitor, I saw that Bonnie had left the stage, now, too. I found Bonnie in the Backstage Area and Chica in the Dining Area. I decided to check all the other cameras, but I saw something...odd...on the East Hall camera. The wall had very strange pictures that looked likechildren's drawings. The drawings were sad-looking, white faces that appeared to be screaming in agony with tears streaming down their faces. I put the monitor down and I heard, in the distance,carnival-like music that I recognized as one of the arcade cabinets in the Dining Area.
I heard a sudden, deep laughter that echoed throughout the empty halls of the restaurant. I had no clue who, what, or where it was. I decided to check the monitor for anything unusual. I switched cameras until I got to the Show Stage camera. I saw that Freddy had left the Show Stage. I knew then that I was in trouble. I instinctively switched to the Dining Area camera and saw...two...glowing, white dots. I guessed that those were Freddy's eyes. Footsteps outside my left-hand door made me put down the monitor and check my door light. Bonnie was, of course, right outside my door. I shut the door, checked the other door light, sipped my now-cold coffee, and pulled up the monitor. I switched to the Pirate Cove camera, but Foxy hadn't moved from his spot and was still only barely out of the curtain.
I had a sudden flashback, this time, of a white room with beeping noises in the background. Everything was really fuzzy, so I couldn't really see where I was, but I remembered hearing the constant beeping of...some kind of machine.
I shook myself out of my flashback and I thought I saw...a yellow Freddy suit...for a very brief second...almost like...I was seeing things. I checked the door lights and opened my left door, since Bonnie had left and I was only at 43% power. I decided to pull up the monitor and look for Chica.
I was just about to switch cameras, when I heard this clanging noise from the kitchen, followed by the deep laughter from before and a music box that played the tune of "Toreador's March" from Carmen.I checked on Foxy, just to be sure that he still hadn't moved, then switched to the Kitchen camera. Although the camera was out, I could hear the banging and crashing noises and the music box over the audio. At least one animatronic was in there, I was certain.
I switched the camera back to Foxy and saw him stepping out of the curtain. I put the monitor down to check my door lights. No one was on either side, but I shut the door anyway to wait for Foxy. I checked my clock and saw that it was 5:15. "Only a little bit more," I said to myself. I pulled up the monitor and saw that Foxy had left and his curtain was wide open. I searched for him on the cameras, but it wasn't until I got to the West Hall camera that I saw him running straight for my left door. Even though my left door was already shut, I put down the monitor to shut the right door as well.I watched my power level decrease to 7%. I heard the banging on my left door stop and wondered if he'd gone, so I checked the camera in Pirate Cove. Foxy was back inside his curtain. I put down the monitor and checked both doors. Before I could react, I heard the clock change to 6:00 A.M. I opened both doors, since no one was outside. The manager came in, and said, "Hey, Mike! How was the night?" I sighed and said, "The nights are...getting harder as I continue...but it was ok." The manager said, "Well, Mike...you should go get some rest...long night tonight." I nodded and said,"Yes, sir. See ya later." He waved as I walked out the door to go home.
