Forget Me Not

Chapter 1

I ran through the deep eerie forest,the wind howling behind me and the the stars as the only light to guide me through the dangerous forest.The needle-like thorns scratched my bare legs leaving small crimson scars.Intoxicating smoke filled the air around me, blinding my sight as I continued sprinting across the forest.Everytime i heard the intense footsteps,my speed increased and it made me want to turn around.The ground beneath me felt like jelly as i began to loose my balance.I stumbled to the nearest tree and leaned against it.

The branches were twisted and mangled in unusal shapes.The trunk itself was rotting away and felt so rough.As I traced the trunk with my finger it felt like it was carved into a small but ferocious bear, ready to attack anything that was in its way.Also the roots of the tree were traps to, so that nothing can interfere with anything living in the tree.I breathed heavily praying he couldnt hear me.I checked my phone and i had 20 missed calls,4 voice mails and 6 unread texts.

All of a sudden I felt a cold hand on my shoulder and i screamed as loud as i could .Hastily I tried to break free from the hold but i coudn't.I could see his face in front of me, his body pressing against mine and I desprately tried to look for a way to go. Slowly I walked backwards trying to somehow escape.As I continued doing this he began to swear at me making me feel like I was nothing.Suddenly I stopped and took a quick glance over my shoulder. 10 feet below me was a wide river with sharp rocks facing my way on either side were narrow paths that contined for a few miles.

He got closer but i couldn't move,if i took one step backwards i would have 10ft drop fall to death.I was trapped again.Uepectedly,I stumbled, which caused me to fall.As i fell I could see his face.

The last face I saw before it all went black...
