Chapter Two

-A couple weeks later-

Its friday afternoon and the unit just cracked a case. Lisbon is finishing up the paperworks while Cho is bringing the guilty murderer into custody. Meanwhile Rigsby is ordering the case closed pizza. Jane brings wine and divides it with Van Pelt in five coffee mugs. Why mugs? It's all Van Pelt could find in the kitchen of the CBI. Such a caffeine society.

Lisbon enters the bullpen. She looks happy. Maybe because they closed the case, maybe because it's friday and even the boss has weekend now. The Unit is already the last unit remaining in the whole building. Only the cleaning and security personal is still there.

Everyone is sitting at the big table, waiting for the pizza when cho showes up, grabs a mug and sits down next to Rigsby. Van Pelt and Jane are talking about how Jane got the confession out of the killer and Rigsby is telling Cho how cool he looked while tackling down the suspect. Lisbon is sitting at the end of the table happily watching her team and drinking wine. The elevator plings and a young, shy boy with a pizza cap enters the floor. Rigsby nearly jumps in his direction to get the pizza and payes the pizzaboy.

While everyone is eating the delicious pizza Lisbons phone vibrates. She looks up her messages. It's from Lisa. She smiles, then starts thinking.. "Guys.. would it be okay if I invite Lisa to us? I know it's our case closed pizza but I promised her that we'd eat together." she shyly asks. "Of course! We haven't seen her in weeks. That would be awesome if she comes by." Van Pelt repeatet without thinking for just a second. The guys just nod approvingly. Now Lisbon smiles and calls Lisa. Lisa directly hit the road to the CBI.

"She is gonna get here in twenty minutes or so." Lisbon says while continuing eating her pizza. She divided the whole pizza in two so Lisa can eat the other part. Meanwhile the others continue with their conversation about pineapple on pizza. Cho and Van Pelt just can't stand it but Rigsby says he thinks it's very tasty. Now everyone is looking at Lisbon waiting on her opinion. "What?.." she asks. "Okay fine.. I don't really like it but if i have to I eat them I do. Lisa loves it so if she orders one it doesn't bother me." The rest just nods and continue arguing until Lisbon starts to speak again "So.. about Lisa.. I think before she gets here you guys need to know something.." The Unit immediately stop speaking and wait for Lisbon to continue. "I introduced her as a good friend of mine.. but this isn't true. She isn't just a friend." Lisbons stops. Not knowing if she really should continue speaking. This would be a big step for her. She never did something like this before. Especially not to her Unit. Her Colleagues. She just dosen't know how they would react. Are they gonna be okay with that? Will they still respect her as their boss? She takes a deep breath then finally decides to continue speaking "She is.. my girlfriend". Now she feels kinda relieved but at the same time she is scared of the reaction.

Its deadly silent in the bullpen. A little fearful she looks up after she dropped her gaze in the middle of her speaking. She couldn't tell any reaction in Cho's face, Rigsby looks kinda confused, Jane smiles and Van Pelt suddenly jumps out of her chair squeaking and clapping her hands. "Lisbon this is amazing! I am so happy for you! Omg I can't wait to meet her as your girlfriend" she nearly screams while running to Lisbon and hug her. Now the boys also stand up to hug and congratulate Lisbon. Then Janes thanks her for being so honest to them. Rigsby still looks confused but she thinks he has no problem with her being a lesbian. Cho just stands there and smiles. Wait? Cho.. smiles! Now Lisbon is compleatly relieved and smiles too. It's a very genuine smile. She is happy.

Lisbons phone vibrates again. She checks her new message then apply's that Lisa is almost here. "She is here but gets delayed by Tommy." Tommy is their access control down at the entrance in the parking lot. "Then you should go and get her out of their. Tommy will not let her go himself" Rigsby adds amused. "I probably should. Be right back don't continue drinking without us!" Lisbon says while heading to the elevator.

After the elevator doors closed Rigsby turns to his colleagues "How does that work?" he asks confused again. "How does what work?" van Pelt asks back.

"I mean.. how do they.. you know..... do it?"

"You can't be serious.." van Pelt replies while shaking her head.

"Rigs.. there is a thing called internet. I can't believe you don't know how this works." Cho adds

"I think you should ask her this yourself" Jane smirks

"I think we both know i can't ask our Boss how she has sex." Rigsby says bugged.

"I mean you could.. but i would advise you against that." Jane replies.

Rigsby just rolls his eyes while Jane is laughing about the idea to ask Lisbon how she has sex.

-Meanwhile downstairs-

Lisbon is heading outside. In the distance she already can see Lisa trying to convince Tommy of her harmlessness. "It's alright Tommy she belonges to me. She's clean." Lisbons says while arriving at Tommy's little house at the entrance. "Are you sure Agent Lisbon?" he asks. "I am sure. The only thing thats gonna explode do to her is me out of joy. So please.. let her in. I'll take care of her." Tommy just nodds and pushes a button that opens the little last gate between Lisa and the CBI. Lisa laughed then thanked Tommy, takes her bagpack and goes through the door. Lisbon also thanks Tommy. "Have a nice evening Tommy" she says. Then Lisbon reach out her hand so Lisa can grab it. Hand in Hand and animatedly talking the two walk inside the building and the still on this floor located elevator. After the doors closed Lisbon turns to Lisa and gives her a tender kiss. Then they just stare at each other as they do so often. "Lisa.. uhm i think i need to warn you.." Lisbon says hushed. Now Lisa looks kinda scared. "No.. no need to be scared.. i think. It's just.. I told them. They now know about you. About us." With relief Lisa answers "Really? Reese this is amazing! I'm so proud you finally did it." Then Lisa kisses her until the elevator plings and the doors open. A moment they look inward. Then they hold their hands and head outside.
