Twin Brother?

Hospital

My head hurts. Why is everyone shouting? Where is Carter? "What?" I tried to sit up but that just hurt so i lay back down. "Mila? Oh my God Mila!" I can hear my mom yelling for my dad. I feel someone grabbing my hand, squeezing tightly. "Noah? Alex?" I whispered, squeezing back. I can hear lots of crying, and shouting. What the hell happened?

After everything calmed down a bit, and i could sit up, a doctor came and sat beside me. "Ok Mila, do you remember what happened?" I slowly nod my head. "Me and Carter. We had a crash. Right? Wheres Carter?" I can hear my heart monitor going wild. "Mila i need you to try to relax okay?" The doctor said, placing his hand on my arm. "Carters okay, we've got her." I nodded, trying to control my heart rate. "I'll see you in a little while okay?" I nodded again.

My mom came in after a few minutes. "Is Carter okay?" I whispered, scared of the answer. She nodded, squeezing my hand. "She broke her femur, she won't be playing soccer this year but other than that and a few scratches and bruises she's okay." I sighed, a big relief. "I have more news for you M." I nodded, looking up at her. "Apparently, you have a brother." I laughed, "Yeah, i have two, Noah and Alex." She shook her head. "No Mila, you have a biological twin brother." I didn't reply. "The hospital was checking through your medical records to find out if you where allergic to any medication and found out that, 16 years ago, you and your brother were born in this hospital." She stood and kissed my head. "His name is Jack. Jack Avery, if you want to try and find more about him." I nodded as she left the room.  I lied back down, breathing out heavily. What is happening to my life?
