Finding Out

Jacks POV
I rolled out of bed, hearing Corbyn yelling at Zach for god knows what. "Corbyn! Shut the fuck up!" I hear Jonah yell from the bunk above mine. "Jonah!" Daniel scolded playfully. As i got out of bed, I found out why Corbyn was yelling at Zach. "Corb, leave the kid alone." I muttered, squeezing his shoulder. "He needs to get up J, you know how hyper he gets if we let him sleep all day." I just shook my head, patted Corbyns back and walked into the kitchen. "Jack! Your phones ringing, want me to answer it?" Jonah said from the back of the bus. "Yea, go ahead!"

Jonah answered my phone, talking softly. "Hey Jack, come here a sec. I think you should hear this." I walked back to Jonah, as he put the phone on speaker. "This is a message for Jack Robert Avery. We have your sister, Mila James at Hope Zion Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Please call this number back for more information." I looked at Jonah who looked as confused as i felt. "I have another sister?" I whispered. I slowly smiled as i imagined, the fact that i could have another sister.

I called my mom and asked if i had any biological family from before they adopted me and she said none that she knew of but she would call Jackson (my social worker) and see if he found anything.
Jackson: Jack we found something here. Jack: Yea? Is it true? Do i have another sister?
Jackson: Congrats Jack, you do indeed have a twin sister. And her name is Mila James.

I called my mom after that and told her everything and that i was going to Dallas to meet her. Jonah and Zach were going to Florida for vacation, Corbyn was going home to Virginia and Daniel was free so he's coming to Dallas with me.

(On the plane)
"Hey Dani?" I nudged him slightly. "Yea? What's up Jack?" He sat up, running his eyes. "I'm kinda scared. What if she doesn't want to know me?" I mumbled, twisting the rings on my right hand. "Hey. You're freaking Jack Avery, she's gonna love you, you're going to be the best brother ever, just like you are with Syd and Ava and Isla Rose, come on she'll love you." I nodded, letting Dani go back to sleep. I looked out the window, thinking about this new sister.
