Chapter 2

I looked above me. The shadow was nothing but Marshall Lee. I sighed and kept walking towards Fionna's house. He stopped floating in front of me.

"Whoa whoa whoa Bubba? Where do you think your going without saying hello?" he said with an evil grin across his face. I know he was just messing with me.

"Marshall, I have nothing to say to you. If you will excuse me, I have to go to Fionnas."

He had a sort of hurt look on his face. I felt bad for hurting his feelings, WAIT! No I didn't! I can't care about Marshall, not after all of the things he did to me. He has been very rude and cruel to me in the past.

It has actually been about three years or so since I have seen the Vampire King. But I'm glad, I have not been bullied by him in the past three years.

Marshall's p.o.v

I don't know why I was hurt when Gumwad said he didn't want to talk to me. I wasn't supposed to care. I'm supposed to be messing with him, making him upset, not him making me upset.

I quickly brushed it off my shoulders and started awkward conversations with him. I don't know why I couldn't talk to him. Why it was so awkward.

"S-so, um, where are you going?" I asked him.

He started blushing when I asked him. Why was he blushing? I kept asking myself that question until he answered.

"Marshall, I already said I was going over Fionna's house like three times now."

"Oh, heh, s-sorry..." I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

He started blushing. This time he was showing a very small and faint smile. He was blushing deeper. I started blushing too, turning my head away from his so he wouldn't see me.
