Louis' been at his house for almost an hour now and Harry still hasn't told him. He's still working up the courage. They're not even doing anything. Louis came over, plopped on his couch and his been on his phone ever since.
"Guess what," Harry finally said.
"What?" Louis didn't bother to look up from his phone.
"Louis," Harry tapped his thigh with his toe, "Guess what!"
"What?" Louis looked up from his phone and raised an eyebrow. Harry reached into his pocket for the envelope and handed it to Louis, "What is this?" Louis was genuinely confused now.
"Just open it."
Louis gave him a confused look but opened the envelope nonetheless. Inside were two plane tickets. He looked even more confused now, "What is this?"
Harry took a deep breath. He could throw up from his nerves, "Plane tickets. For two . . . to California. Happy birthday!" Hopefully this wasn't too much.
"But my birthday isn't for three weeks?"
"I know, but your birthday is Christmas Eve and it's so busy that time of year. But if you go before Christmas it's, like, less busy. I think," Harry knew his face was as red as a tomato.
"Aw, 'arry. Thank you," Louis squeezed Harry's big toe.
"You're welcome," Harry smiled, "So, uh, who do you think you're gonna take?"
"Oh, shut up, 'arry."
"What? I'm serious."
"I'm gonna take you, you idiot! You else would I take?"

They arrived in California on December 18th at 10:30AM and they were both exhausted. They both took naps on the plane, but they spent the last few hours of the flight versing each other in different games. Louis ended up falling asleep for the last half hour of the flight but Harry was restless. Plus, the drive from the airport to their hotel took almost 40 minutes, and the line to check in was a mile long. The minute they got to their room, they both went right to sleep
Harry woke up first, at four o'clock. Louis was still passed out, fully clothed and laying on top of the covers. Harry decided to take a shower and change into something he hasn't been wearing for almost twenty hours.
When he got out of the shower, Louis was up. Well, barely. He was on his phone but Harry could tell he was ready to fall back asleep. Harry didn't say anything and grabbed his laptop from his bag and began to edit his last video. It was a video for his second channel that he did with Katie and she did his makeup. When she did his makeup the first time, Harry didn't vlog it but he did post a photo on Instagram and his fans went crazy. Harry thinks the video will do well.
After a while, Louis got up to take his shower. When he got out, he was freshly shaved and energetic, "So, tell me again, what's the plan for this week?"
Harry took out his earbuds before speaking, "I was thinking today would be a chill day. We could go to the beach or check out the local shops or something. Then tomorrow I'm filming my video with Liza around four but she told me there's a Madame Tussauds nearby that we should check out beforehand. Then she said if we want, her and David, her boyfriend, can show us around. Then on Wednesday I was thinking we could be proper tourists and just walk around Hollywood and buy a bunch of merch - I mean souvenirs. Then Wednesday night we drive to Vegas and spend Thursday and Friday there. And then we leave on Saturday."
"Alright, let's do this."
