Louis took off his jacket and threw it over the coach, "So . . . how does this work? My manager didn't tell me much."

Harry coughed. He didn't want his voice to shake, "Well, um, basically, we uh - well I - mainly me . . . I cook something and you judge it."

"Really?" The look on Louis' face was concerning.

"What?"

"Nothing - it's not my place."

Harry wasn't letting this go, "No. What is it?"

"I mean . . . it just seems boring. You cook something and then all I do is eat it. No offense mate, but I don't wanna sit around watching you cook."

"No - it's not just that. We also talk . . ." Harry faded off, sounding unsure.

"I don't know, maybe it works! I've never really seen one of your videos . . ." Louis scratched the back of his neck, "But you do whatever it is you usually do, mate."

"No, I wanna hear what you were thinking."

Louis sighed, "Maybe I could help you or something? It'd seem more fun, to be honest."

Harry's never cooked with anyone before, let alone bake his special cake. But Harry was down to try it, "Sure."

"Sure? Really?" Louis sounded surprised.

"Yeah, you can help me. We're baking a cake."

"A cake? What kind?"

"Chocolate."

"My favorite. I love chocolate!" Louis' smile was so bright, Harry couldn't help but smile back.

"Okay, let's get to it! You're gonna need an apron, though," Harry walked into the kitchen with Louis following close behind, "I have a few you can wear," Harry pulled out all his aprons. In total, he had about six. Half were patterned, and the other half were funny ones with sayings.

Harry wore the one he always wore, his 'Kiss the Cook' apron, and Louis chose the 'WTF (where's the food)' apron.

Harry positioned his camera so the both of them were view and began to film.

"Hey guys! Welcome back! Today I'm here with the one and only, Louis Tomlinson!" Louis said hi to the camera as he smiled and waved, "Today we're going to do something different on my channel and Louis' gonna help me bake a chocolate cake. It's one of my personal favorite recipes that I've never made on this channel before."

"Oh, I didn't know that," Louis laughed, "I feel special."

Harry felt his face go hot, "No problem," He answered back, not really knowing why, "Um, anyway, today Louis' gonna help me bake this cake!" Harry turned to Louis, "You ready?"

"I was born ready, mate."

Honestly, Louis wasn't that bad of a baker. His measurements were a bit off and he didn't know that you're supposed to turn the mixer on after you put it in the batter which caused batter to fly all over the walls.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry, 'arry!" Louis apologized quickly grabbing napkins to clean up his mess, but Harry was too busy laughing to notice.

"Oh my god, your face!" Harry was bent over at the point. His stomach ached from laughing too hard, "You have chocolate all over it!"

Louis touched his face and wiped some chocolate off. As his finger made its way closer to his mouth, Harry interjected, "That is salmonella waiting to happen."

"Well fuck that then," Louis wiped his finger off on a random napkin. The two of them tried to clean his kitchen to the best of their ability, but some parts were too difficult to clean, like the batter on the ceiling.

They finished baking the cake without anymore major incidents. And in the end, they both really enjoyed the cake.

"This is your recipe?" Louis asked with a mouthful of cake.

"Yeah. I made it when I was sixteen."

"Sixteen? I don't think I could cook when I was sixteen," Louis laughed, "I can't cook now."

"It's never too late to learn."

"That is very true," Louis paused, "Are you busy next Saturday?"

Harry's felt his heart stop, "Uh, I don't think so."

"Well, my friend Niall is having a party and he invited me. But I kinda have to bring food. So, I was thinking you can make something and you can be my plus one?"

"Really? I'd love to."

"Great! I'll pick you up around eight thirty," Louis smiled and Harry smiled back and the two continued eating their cake in silence.
