"You know, if they had said that volunteering to become a draconian would have voided all your human rights, I probably wouldn't have volunteered." I say to myself, my speech still partially garbled as I was still not used to my new mouth yet. I continue to stroll down the halls of my "home" thinking of the days when I was just an electrical engineer working for this place. "It's surprising just how dominantly xenophobic some people can be. If you're not human then you're their plaything," I say with a sigh as I reached my old containment unit and looked at the metal walls. One side was broken and the others were covered in calculations, diagrams and other ideas. It was kinda funny even after I was transformed I could do almost everything I could before, especially math. Several of the calculations were for problems they had either told me directly or I had overheard. The day I was turned into this I only lost two things: my speech and my freedom. Even still I gained several things: fire breath, for lack of any better term, some sharp claws, extra strength, a full body of scales, two extra feet of height and the bulk to compensate. I continued to walk in past the old cage and began to look for some food, hoping I wouldn't have go hunting. While the base had been abandoned, along with me, they had left everything behind. I still remember the day I had had enough and broke out, I ended up killing five people, three of them were the corporate jackasses who were pointing laughing, saying how I was a beast that thought it was a man. The remaining two were bodyguards who I killed in defense. After that everyone freaked out and ran for their lives, at the time I didn't really care about them. They all had treated me poorly. But they still had left me a lot. That was three months ago. If only they could see me now. I had cracked the Tesla coil and hacked into a broadband connection providing the base with off the grid power and internet. I reached the pantry room and looked around. "Well it seems as though I will need to go foraging again." I sigh and walk to down the hallways until I reach the door that leads outside. I push it open and step outside. The weather was lovely, but it's times like these that make me really glad I chose the base by a forest. I begin to look around, stretch my wings, and take off into the woods to look for food.

Meanwhile five college kids are wandering around and find the air base, "Woah. Dude look, it's some abandoned airbase." said the tall lanky guy to the others.

"According to my research, hehe, this is Biggs army airfield." said the short girl with glasses reading from her phone.

"The place looks pretty cool, but why would they abandon it?" said the sporty looking girl.

"Well, according to this, it was abandoned when something from the experimentation room escaped and killed five people, about three months ago." replied the girl with glasses.

"So, you're telling me that we have just found what might be an actual haunted house? Dude I've got to record this!" said the slick looking guy holding up his camcorder.

"Hmm, good idea Ben. I'm also eager to find what the government has been hiding from us. Let's go look around." said a male sounding voice from behind a Guy Fawkes mask and a black hoodie. With that, the gang headed inside Biggs army airfield building. Almost immediately the gang notices something amiss. Several of the lights are on. The gang continues to walk around the halls and corridors, noticing several peculiarities. At one point the lanky one discovers the kitchen and the kettle. "Hey guys, come look at this," he said a little freaked out. "What'd you find, Jacob?" asked the sporty girl. "This kettle." Jacob replies as he shakes it lightly, a distinct sloshing noise can be heard inside. "Has fresh water in it." Everyone starts to look a little freaked out. "Okay, I'm beginning to think someone is living here." said the glasses girl. "The government may very well be hiding someone here, Emma," the Guy Fawkes mask said, the gang continues to wander around finding other traces of inhabitants, until they eventually find the experimentation room and the busted containment unit. The five of them stare into the broken cage in disbelief. "Whatever was here, it was definitely smart," the Guy Fawkes mask declared.
