Chapter 1
Beep, beep, beep! My alarm is really annoying when you dont want to get up. Putting a pillow over my head trying to block out the sound but i could still hear it. Ugh! I finally leaned up and hit the off button on it then layed back down.
Another day, another pain. I thought. Getting up from my bed and walking to my dresser to put my glasses on.
Hearing my parents argue down stairs brought joy to my ears. Not really, they always fought and soon either my mom or my dad leaves and slams the door closed leaving either one of them crying....
I got closer to the bathroom and heard my brother come running. "Hey i called dibs on first shower last night!" He said as he got closer.
"To late Jean im already here." i giggled. We raced to the bathroom and i got there first and ran in and slammed the door. Jean cought up and started to bang on the door to make me open it. Locking the door i looked in the mirror.
I had tanish skin, blue eyes behind my nerdy glasses, and brown curly hair to mid back. I had a bruise on my cheek from my dad when he got drunk one day. Long story.

I descended from the shower. I got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Going into my room I saw Jean walk out of it with an evil grin.
What he do now? i thought as i walked in my room. Looking around my room i didnt notice anything..... Until i sat on my bed. All i heard was a squishy noise then a pop. Jumping off my bed i turned around and saw blue ink all on my bed and on the back of my pants.
"JEAN WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!"
All i heard was laughing. I walked to my closet and picked out black jeans and changed. Checking the clock it read 8:45 am.
I grabbed my back pack and walked downstairs. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a raw egg for Jean. Hearing footsteps coming down stairs, i walked to the stairs and waited for him. He got to the bottom of the stairs and i smacked him in the back of his head with the egg. I just giggled and walked away. He ran back upstairs and soon came back down with his hair all wet. "Thanks ALOT Snicker-bug" He said as he walked to the door.
"Your welcome pal." i just giggled more. We left the house with out saying bye to our parents.
Who would say bye to their parents if they are always either drunk or abusing you? I know i wouldnt.
We kept walking to school and i soon heard Jean hum a song. I knew what song it was so i just started to sing it to mess with him. "My heads under water but im breathing fine. Youre crazy and im out of my mind." i kept singing and made it funny.
He just looked at me and practically yelled "CAUSE ALLLLLLL OF MEEEEE LOVESSS ALLLLL OF YOUUU!" We just laughed and laughed. Then a familiar voice says behind us "Love your curves and all your edges. All your perfect imperfections" I turned around and saw my bestest friend that i knew since pre-k singing it. "Well way to ruin the moment Rylie." i said sarcastically.
"Whatever. Anyways Hi jean...." She cought up.
"You mean egg head?" i laughed out.
"Shut it ink but." Jean said as he stuck out his tongue.
I crossed my arms and kept walking. "Well later guys. Im heading to my school now. You guys know your way by now so... Later." Jean goes to his school, Jackenville High.
Me and Rylie kept walking and talking. This was about our second week of school.
We reached school and walked in. Me and Rylie are in 7th grade and are inrolled at Primerose Middle. We went to the court yard and hung out. The first bell rang so we had to go to our first period. "Later Rylie."
