Chapter 1
~At Lunch~
I was sitting with Rylie at a table. We kept talking about non-sense. I told her what happened between me and Jean in the morning. She just nodded and tried not to laugh. She leaned in and whispered "Ink but" i just gave her a death glare and she just started laughing. "Shut it Ryliiena.." She hated when i called her that so why not use it now.
"Fine....." She said in defeat. We got up and went to go get our lunch. We came back and sat down, she started to eat and i just picked at my food. Kieth came and sat down next to me. "What do you want?" Rylie said with a mouth ful of food. "Shut it chimpunk." Keith took my milk from my food. "Dont call me that and give that back to her!" Rylie is usualy the one who fights for me. I'm the shy one out of me, Rylie, and Jean. "I dont have to listen to you." Just then Billy and Troy came over. Troy took the rest of my lunch and Billy took Rylies milk. I just stayed quiet. "Why so quiet huh?" Troy said walking to me. "I dont think she knows how to talk." Billy exclaimed. "Well she talked when she made me twist my ankel." Kieth said. He nodded which made me scared. Then Troy took my glasses and walked off.
"Hey g-give those back" i got up and tried to get them back. "Now she talked!" Troy yelled and tossed my glasses to Billy.
"You want these? Here" Billy tried handing me them but when i tried to grab them he tosed them to Kieth. "S-stop!" i stuttered. "Or else what?" Troy cought them from Billy. "Or i will have to come into this." Said a familiar voice. I looked and saw Liu. "Oh yeah what would you do?" Billy walked up to him. A teacher finally came by and broke them up. And Troy and his excuses made up a lieand said that i hit him. "Is this true Amanda?" The teacher asked. "N-no its not. I dont fight and you know that sir. Ask Rylie I didnt hit him. He took m-my glasses." I went to Troy and pointed at my glasses. "Give those back right now or your going to the prinicples office." The teacher crossed his arms.
"Fine." Troy mumbled and handed them back to me. I put them back on and the boys left. Liu came and sat next to me and Rylie. "So are you going to be able to make it tonight?" Liu asked as he handed me his milk. "No thanks, and maybe. If my mom isnt home." I replied. "What are you guys talking about." Rylie said like a little kid. "Nothing. Stuff..." Liu laughed.
"Yeah stuff." I smiled. The bell rang for class. "Well se ya Amand.... I mean Snickerz. Sorry i forgot." Liu said as he got up. "Its alright. We just met sooo...." i got up. I said bye to Rylie and went to class. I went to my next class. I had Language Arts. The teacher did NOT like me.... And i meant did not like me at all. I walked in and went straight to my desk. "About time you join us Amanda." Mr. Kyle said. I just stayed quiet and sat down. He went back to teching. "Hey you... quiet one." someone whispered. I just stayed looking down. "Im talking to you." The voice sounded louder. I looked up. "Finally you listen sheesh." I saw it was Keith talking. I looked back down. Keith threw a paper ball at me. I just tossed it back. "Mr... She threw something at me!" Keith yelled. "Did you throw that Amanda?" Mr. Kyle said as he walked to my desk. "N-no si...."
"Yes she did and it hit my eye" Keith interupted. I just stayed quiet. "Alright thats it. Amanda, Keith take her to the principles office." With that Mr.Kyle had a evil grin. I just stood up and walked out of the class. Kieth ran after me. I kept walking but was walking the oppisite way than the principles office. "Hey your going the wrong way" i heard keith laugh. I turned around and he was right behind me. He pushed me against the wall. "Im not going to the principles office. And g-get off of me." I said not having eye contact. He raised his fist. "This is for almost making me in trouble." He punched me in my stomach. He moved backwards and i fell to my knees. He walked away laughing. I got up and prayed for the bell.

There was five more minutes of 6th period. I had band. I just stayed in my seat and thought of stuff. Sooner than i knew it. I got up and walked to my 7th period. Gym. Rylie is in that class to so i am happy. Me and her kept talking and then Jeff and Liu came walking in the Gym. They talked to the coach and then came walking to us. "Hey Jeff... Hey Liu...." I say smiling. "So you met my brother?" Jeff asked.
"Yup... I did..." I giggled. "Oh yeah Jeff this is my friend, Rylie." I finished. "Hey there Jeffy" Rylie said.
"Dont call me that."
"Alright. So.... wanna play basketball?" Rylie smiled.
"Yeah sure." Jeff said.
"Why not.:" Liu replied.
I just shrugged. Rylie went to get a ball and came back. "Alright. Whos on whos team." Rylie said with a smile.
"I call Snickerz." Liu said. "Alright so i get Jeffy." Rylie. "Why you little..." Jeff started to say. I whispered in his ear. Call her Ryliena, she hates that. "Alright..... If you call me Jeffy.... Ima call you Ryliena." Jeff smiled.
"Touche douche." I just laughed. "Alright lets start." I say. Rylie started she tossed the ball to Jeff. I went to Jeff and stole the ball. I shot it at the basket and it went in. Me and Liu highfived.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen the score is a tie. 17 to 17." Rylie said in her sports announcer voice.
I passed the ball to Liu and he made it in. Me and him hugged and quickly seperated. I saw him blush up. "Awww look at the dumb couple." Mel said. "We are not a couple! We are just friends!" Liu said to her.
"Yeah sure sure... Friends with benifits..." Mel laughed I just blushed and stayed quiet. "wait a second.... Amanda cant even get a date... nevermind about the friends with benifits and couple parts.. hehehe" Again i just stayed quiet.
"Hey its alright dont listen to this hoe.. Talking about herself..." Jeff said. "Why dont you just shut up...." Mel snapped.
"Why dont you just get your fake ass out of here." Rylie said. Mel just walked away.
"Thanks guys...." i said quietly.
"Its okay.... How long has she been doing this?" Liu asked.
"Since 4th grade." Rylie replied. "Well at least I am here" Rylie smiled.
"Yeah...." I said and smiled. The bell rang and everyone ran out. Me, Liu, Rylie and Jeff was walking out and started to walk home. "Sorry guys but we have to wait for our mom. See ya later Snickerbug." Liu said. I smiled. "Alright guys... See ya later." Me and Rylie kept walking home.
Jean soon cought up with us. "Who were they? Hmmmmm." Jean said smiling. "New buddies." I luaghed. "Oh okay.... So not your boyfriends?" Jean just started laughing.
"No... I wish." Rylie said. I looked at her." Huh?".
"N-nothing." She blushed. We finished walking home in total silence. I said bye to Rylie and me and Jean walked in. "What took you so long to get home?" My mom yelled with a whisky bottle in her hand. She walks to me.
"So are you going to answer?" She raised her hand. "....." I opened my mouth but nothing came out. Jean stepped in front of me. "Just leave her alone." He said standing straight.
"Your not the boss of me. Im the boss of you. Now answer my question." She stummbled. "We dont have to." Jean said. Mom raised her hand and all i saw was her swing and Jean fell down. She hit him with the bottle and knocked him out.
"Jean!!" I stayed next to him and tried to get him upstairs. I finally got him upstairs and my mom saw and came walking to us. Again she stummbled. I got him to my room and locked the door. "Come on Jean wake up...." i felt tears build up. I had him laying on my bed and i was leaned up against the door so my mom couldnt break it down.
