It's been a couple years since Nerezza met Hayley and Hope, but Nerezza felt like she finally had a place to call home. She now felt a sense of attachment to the broken family and loved Hope as if she was her own. Hayley is as much as a sister as if they were blood and she'd do anything to keep them safe.
Hayley was currently in the Parker of the small house they were raising Hope in. She had a plan to bring the rest of her family back together again and finally reunite with the love of her life, Elijah.
"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Nerezza asked the bold hybrid. She couldn't help but be worried for her even if she felt as if she was prepared. "I could come with you and use my magic to destroy whoever dare crosses you."
Hayley got up and walked over to Nerezza. "It's okay Nez, I've been preparing for this for years now. I have everything I need." She pulled Nerezza in for an emotional embrace. "I need you here protecting Hope. I don't want anything to happen to her."
They pulled apart as Nerezza nodded. She was hesitant on letting Hayley leave alone, but she knew she couldn't stop her. They mad their way to the kitchen where Hope was sitting at the table and eating a bowl of lucky charms.
Hayley approached Hope and bent down to her level. "Honey, mommy is going on a short trip, but Nezzy will be here to watch you."
Hope wrapped her arms around her mother. "How long will you be gone, mommy?"
"Only a day or two sweetie, but you and Aunt Nezzy will be having too much fun and it'll feel much shorter." Hayley pulled away and gave the Hope one last kiss before heading out the front door.
As the door closed, Nerezza walked up to Hope and ruffled her hair. "Wanna practice some magic in the garden little H?"
Hope let out a small squeal and yelled "yes!" before running out the back door.
Nerezza ran after her yelling "Wait for me squirt!"

It was a lot later at night and Nerezza was reading Hope a bedtime story while Hope laid snuggled into bed.
"They're once was a kingdom so far in the sky made up of a powerful family. They ruled over the whole world with dignity and respect. Each sibling had their own special gifts. But one day, the family decided that one sibling was too weak to be apart of their family, so they made her do their bidding for as long as she would live. The girl was sad that her family didn't love her anymore, so she escaped. She made it her mission to blend in with the humans and live a life worth living."
