Chapter Six: Missing Her

After a few hours of morning rush hour, we managed to grab some coffee from a small local cafe and head home. Mila dropped the guys off at their apartment building since its a few minutes from ours before heading home.

"How's the coffee?" She asked sarcastically, since I had already finished it five minutes ago.

"Disgusting, I could barely drink it." I said sarcastically while making a disgusted face expression. We both laughed, then sat in silence.

"Ya know, last night was more fun than I imagined it to be." She said out of nowhere. I nodded.

"Agreed, the new guys helped it alot. If they weren't there it would've been a total waste of a night." I said.

"Agreed." She pulled the car into the parking garage and parked in our usual spot.

"I cannot wait to get some actual food into my body because those sugary snacks and artificial caffeine is not making me feel too well." I said, eager to get back to the apartment. I put the key in the keyhole and flung the door open.

"Home sweet home!" I yelled as I flopped onto the couch.

"What the hell guys! I thought you were gonna be back early this morning! Me and Finn were worried sick!" Kara came running out of her bedroom and engulfed us in a hug.

"Time got away from us, you'll never believe what happened last night." Mila smirked.

And so the story was told, the ENTIRE story. Everything from setting up our camp to finding out that there were other people there with us, to Noah then threatening and scaring the shit out of the guys, to us all hanging out and becoming friends, to me and Colby maybe becoming something more than friends and how we talked all night long.

"Awww! Our baby girl has a crush!" Kara squeezed me in a hug. I sighed, not even denying it this time because, they were right.

I did have a crush on the guy I met only hours ago.

*COLBY'S POV*

Ali's image ran through my mind as I slowly ate my bowl of Lucky Charms.

How her freckles danced across her cheeks and her nose. How her dark blonde hair, even though it was tied up, strands of hair still cascaded infront of her face making her look even more beautiful. How her blue green eyes sparkled in the moonlight. How she doesn't need makeup to be beautiful.

"Yoo hoo, earth to Colby" Sam said as he waved his hand in front of my face. I blinked quickly, returning back to reality.

"Sorry guys, I'm just tired." I sort of lied. I was kind of tired, but not to the point where I'm day dreaming.

"So today we can just chill and do something fun later if you want. We can go bowling  tonight." Elton suggested. We all looked at eachother and nodded in agreement.

"Until then, what are we gonna do?" Corey asked. I shrugged, not really caring what we did.

"Shit, I have to upload a video for today, so it looks like I'm stuck here editing and posting all day." I remembered.

After a while, the guys all decided that they'll go do some shopping at the shopping center down the block and let me edit alone in peace and quiet.

"See you later tonight dude." Sam patted my shoulder as they filed out the RV door and shut it behind them.

I put my Beats headphones on and began to edit my video.

I automatically put my intro in since it was already edited from earlier yesterday and began editing and cutting out footage from the exploration.

"It's actually kinda creepy here at night," I began to say before I stop in the middle of my sentence. I turn the camera around to show a flashing light. The flashlight of the group. I next cut directly to the point where, I think his name was Noah, was yelling at us from the window. Noah was a little intimidating, I noticed him glaring at me and Sam everytime we talked to Ali. I wonder what his problem is.

The next scene shows everyone introducing themselves.

"I'm Ali." She says with a smile and a small wave to the camera. I paused the video and just stared at her for a few minutes. Goddamnit, this girl's getting to me.

I continued editing my video, putting only a few clips of when me and Ali were sitting on the room in because I didn't want my female fans to get jealous and mad at me. Cause trust me, if the fans assumed that we were dating, they would do some hardcore stalking and find out who Ali is.

I then cut to us walking back to the RV, footage that Elton took cause my camera was dead. And then my outro I did a little while ago before the guys left.

Perfect.

I reviewed the video one more time thouroughly before pressing the upload button. I sighed, as I now have like 6 hours to myself. Looks like I'm getting some sleep in a bed alone, since I don't have to share it with Sam right now. I love Sam to death, but let me tell you, the kid kicks in his sleep, badly.

I layed down in the "loft" bed above the driver and passenger seat. It felt so good to lay down on a mattress alone for once. As I began to drift off, my phone buzzed. I ignored it, assuming it was one of the guys just checking in on me.

Then my phone buzzed again.

And again.

And again.

I huffed and rolled onto my back, taking my phone out of my front pocket. A smile crept onto my face as I read the messages.

Unknown number: Hey, I need some alone time away from the roommates. Wanna do lunch at 1?

Unknown number: oops sorry, its Ali lol :P

Unknown number: remember, from last night lol

Unknown number: so lunch at 1? I can pick you up if you want

I changed the contact name before I️ texted her back.
