The next couple of days I didn't necessarily go to school, I would leave the house say goodbye to my mom and be out the door. I would text the brothers to leave to school without me and go hang out downtown, go to a bookstore or read a book at a cafe.
It's been already four days after the incident at the party but I still felt humiliated. I just want this week to go by so I can start fresh next week.
When it came to Friday, I was glad my mom hasn't noticed I've haven't been going to school the whole week. Sasuke had texted me why I wasn't in class so I lied and said I was sick. He had asked me to hang out but I didn't feel like it much.
I decide to put on some makeup, maybe it would make look much older when I went out. Or else I would look like a kid walking around school hours. After pretending to leave to school, I catch the bus to downtown.
I'd had gathered up some money to go watch a movie today, it would make time go by much faster.
In the middle of the ride on the bus, an incoming call came from an Uchiha. It was Itachi. My heart raced a little, worried that he had figured out that I was skipping. So I end the call.
When I reach the streets of the city, I walk to the theater. It was a strange time to go, but no one was going to find me.
There were moments where I thought someone was following me but it was just my paranoia since I was skipping.
It felt strange skipping, it was my first time doing something 'wild'. Well, that and the thing that happen between Obito and I. And the party.
Anyways, I reached the theater and realize it was early. Meaning the movie didn't start for the next hour. I go over to the concession stand and order some candy to eat in the meantime.
I walk over and find only one employee working. He turned and automatically my brows jump realizing how good looking he was.
"Hello how can I help you?" The man smiled.
"Just a pack of M&M's."
"Alright, here you go."
"Thanks." I return the gesture. Only because I got my candy.
"What is a pretty girl like you doing in the theaters all alone?" He asked leaning over on the counter.
A small chuckle escaped my lips, this dude had a nice ass smile. "Well-"
"Maybe because she's not supposed to be here in the first place." A small chill ran through my back as the voice behind scared me.
The guy over the counter backed up and walked away cautiously.
Nervously I turn around to face an Uchiha.
"Itachi..."
He didn't say anything, instead, he turned to leave.
I followed him into the parking lot. "How did you find me?"
"Sasuke had a doctor appointment today so he didn't go to school. So I left the house a little later, then I saw you getting on the bus that goes to downtown. So I followed you."
We got inside the car, none of us making eye contact.
"May I ask why have you been skipping school?"
I sighed. "What happen at the party, I still feel humiliated by it."
Itachi was quiet.
"I was planning to go back Monday." I said.
"You missed a whole week of class, Aya."
"I'll catch up." I started to fidget with my hands. Even though I wasn't looking at him, I could feel his eyes on me.
