Senpai's Little Toy

PART TWO: EIGHT

"Thanks Tori, I'll print the paperwork right now." I hand up the phone from my office and open the link in my email to print paper work I need to sign.

Work has been busy since Madara has left me on my own without an assistant. I guess I deserve this after my impulsive decision.

I ran my hand through my hair and sighed. I was probably getting home late tonight. I shrugged off my laziness and typed away on the desktop. The more I became focused on my work the faster I got my stuff done.

I heard footsteps walk closer to my office, I saw through the clear windows of the my office that I saw a face I haven't seen in a long time.

"My man," I said walking up to the smiling face. We embrace each other in a brotherly hug.

"You know I had to call the old man to let me in this office?" Kakashi said showing me the phone calls. "He made fun of me saying I wasn't important that's why, I told him I wanted to surprise you. Though he said not to distract you."

"Old man Madara doesn't like to see me have fun." I reply.

Kakashi chuckles. "Well I was in the city and before I fly out tomorrow morning I was hoping I can invite you to dinner. There is an Italian restaurant that I want to take you too."

"Not a big pasta person honestly."

"Don't worry princess they got salads too." He smirked. I glared. "They have great seafood and meats you'll have options, Italians don't just eat pasta you know."

"Alright alright, so what time?" I said estimating when I'll possibly finish. " I'll prob be done at 6pm."

"Okay so reservations at 8PM sound good?" Kakashi said. As he takes a seat on one of my chars.

I go around my desk and sit across from him. "Yeah works for me." I sighed ignoring the work in front of me and looked back at Kakashi. "You're headed to South Korea right?"

He nodded. "Rin is so excited, she loves it there. She even made me buy her a penthouse there. Her mom and sister live there and take care of the place so I don't have to hire anyone to take care of it fortunately. But at the same time I financially support her family, so it makes sense that they help around when Rin and I get busy with work. You should come visit us."

"I'll think about it." I responded.

Kakashi looked outside the windows of the big city and then back to me. "You've grown distant you know, we don't talk as we use to. I know the last time we talk it was a difficult conversation. But that's behind us right"

"Yeah man, it's all in the pass. I just been trying to catch up on work." I said trying my best not to smile but I couldn't help it. He noticed and curiously looked at me, without him even speaking a word I knew he was waiting for me to spill out what I was going to say. "I fucked up."

"I know that, I'm just waiting for you to continue." He responded. He was now smiling at me.

"I slept with my ex assistant and she ended up being crazy and clingy and obsessive that I had to report her to Madara because she wouldn't leave me alone. He got rid of her and punished me by leaving me alone with no help for a few months."

"Damn," I heard him say. "He grounded you at work? I'm so glad he ain't my boss."

"I hope your plans crashed." I said rolling my eyes. I leaned in and reached for the last paperwork I was reading on my desk. "Overall I've been really focused on trying to get things right before Madara goes overseas for a while. So I'm sorry if I come off as distant. I really don't mean too."

"Don't apologize, you're a busy man I understand. So I came to visit you." He said standing up. " I'll let you finish, but I'll see you tonight and don't leave me hanging. We'll talk more tonight."
