Chapter 4

Sooyoung got her headache pill then ended up taking another nap for a few hours. When she woke up, she heard voices outside her door, but they weren't the ones she heard before. It wasn't Changkyuns deep, soothing voice or the other mans voice that she learned to belong to a man named Minhyuk.

Both of the voices seemed to have a little bit of a speech impediment, not pronouncing their 's' quite properly. One of the voices sounded like they belonged to a big buff guy but his laugh was sweet, like a child's laugh. This mans voice froze her in fear. Was it someone Changkyun knew? Was is someone JaeEun sent after her and somehow found the building that even Sooyoung didn't know the location of?

Unconsciously, her hands started shaking as she pushed herself out of the bed and wrapped her arms around herself. She took slow quiet steps towards the door while also trying to listen for the voices that she had heard earlier that had suddenly stopped, or at least got quieter so she couldn't hear them.

She stopped herself in front of the door and leaned her ear up against it to see if she could hear anything. "Ready? 1, 2, 3!" Was what she heard before the door opened, pushing her back as she let out a scared scream and fell on her butt.

She looks up at the two men that burst through the door in terror and shock. When Sooyoung screamed, the two older men let out a yell/shout of surprise too and flinched backwards. Sooyoung had managed to back herself away from the strangers and against the wall, letting out heavy breaths.

Once she finally became aware of whats happening, she let out a scream of Changkyuns name followed by curling herself into a ball against the wall as best as she could.

"Hey, it's alright! We're friends of Changkyun. I-I Think you also heard the name Minhyuk too, if I'm not mistaken.." The muscular man said in a panicked but quiet voice. Sooyoung raised her head cautiously and nodded slightly.

She heard rushed footsteps that indicated that someone was running closer and closer. Changkyun quickly came into the room, completely ignoring the two other guys and rushed to Sooyoung, crouching down to her level and putting his hands on her shoulders.

"Are you okay? D-Did someone hurt you? What happened?" He says quickly and out of breath. She shakily raised up her hand to point at the other guys who were staring wide-eyed at Chankgyun and Sooyoung.

He quickly stood up and turned around to see what or who she was pointing at. He stared in confusion at the other guys who were still staring back at him. "Kihyun and Wonho hyung?" He pauses, turning around and crouching again. "What did they do?" He asked in a more normal voice than before.

"Y-You know them...?" Sooyoung asked in a whisper. Changkyun nodded slightly. "I work with them. They didn't hurt you, did they?" He replied then asked with serious eyes. She shook her head and looked away from the other guys to her hands. "Alright, good. How about I give you some time to calm down then you can come meet everyone properly..?" He asked hopefully. Sooyoungs head shot up back to Changkyun and she shook her head quickly with wide eyes. "N-No! What if they don't like me? What if they try to hurt me?!" She blurted out with tears in her eyes slowly gathering with the more she spoke.

Changkyun nodded quickly, trying to calm her down. "It's alright! They wont do anything to you.. I'll make sure of it. And if you do decide to meet them, I'll be right there with you. You don't have to say anything, if you're not comfortable with talking to them. I would just like for you to get familiar with the faces around here so you won't be afraid of them, is that alright?" He explains with his soothing voice as Sooyoung stares into his eyes, finding comfort in them. She nods her head, causing a small smile to grow on Changkyuns face.

He stands up and holds his hand out for her to take. She raises her still trembling hand to grab his and pulls herself up, staying as close to Changkyuns side as she could. "Are you sure you want to meet them now or do you want to wait a little bit...?" Changkyun asked softly. Sooyoung nodded and lightly tugged on his hand, wanting to go. They turn around to the other men who haven't said anything yet and were now leaning against the door frame and the wall.

Changkyun points to the muscular guy leaning against the wall and says, "That guy right there? His name is Hoseok. He may look intimidating but he's really a sweet guy." Hoseok smiles upon hearing this. He moves to point to the smaller guy who smiles kindly when he's pointed at and waves slightly. "That guys name is Kihyun. He's like the mom around here." He says through a slight smile while looking back at Sooyoung. The smaller male, Kihyun, scoffs with a small smile on his face.

Sooyoung nods towards both men. "I-It's nice to meet y-you guys..." She said in a quiet tone, staring down towards the ground to avoid eye contact. Kihyun and Hoseok both nod slightly and respond with something along the lines of 'It's nice to meet you to'. Changkyun stars walking forward, tugging Sooyoungs hand gently to signal her to walk with him.

"We're going to go introduce her to everybody else- and please don't go through her stuff in there." Changkyun said as he walked by the two older males. Hoseok just nodded and Kihyun smacked Changkyun on the back of the head. "Don't think so lowly of us, kid." Kihyun said jokingly. "Yes moooom..." Changkyun replied with a smile.

After that, Changykun and Sooyoung headed down a hallway into a living room area. There were multiple people sitting on the different couches and chairs that were scattered around the room.

One person who was sitting on a beanbag chair in the far corner of the room looked up as soon as Changkyun and Sooyoung walked into the room, everyone else was focused on their phone or had earbuds in.

Sooyoung tugged on Changkyuns arm again, looking up at him. "What is it?" He questioned. Sooyoung suddenly became shy, for some unknown reason. "Wh-Which guy is.. Uhm..." She started, forgetting the older mans name. "The m-man who was w-with you before.." She said while her face turned red with embarrassment.

"Oh! You mean Minhyuk?" Changkyun said. Sooyoung nodded quickly. "That would be me! How are you feeling?" The guy who was sat in the beanbag chair said. Everyone else looked up from their phone and took out their earbuds to see what was going on.

Sooyoung felt shy as all eyes looked towards her. She hated when all the attention was on her. She muttered a quick 'fine' while shuffling behind Changkyun.

One man who was sitting on a big couch suddenly became serious. "Changkyun. Why is there a girl in the dorm? Who is she?" The man spoke slowly and seriously. Sooyoung shuffled so she in now entirely behind Changkyun.

"Okay, let me explain to all of you what happened."
