Boruto sits at his desk for a very long time. At first, he sat there to deal with the grief of losing his firstborn son. One week has past and he still hasn't done anything to help the welfare of the village. Then Boruto thought about something. Maybe he could possibly find a way to bring his son back. It sounded crazy at first, but the more Boruto thought about it, he had a feeling inside that kept telling him it was possible, and it defineitly wasn't Kurama talking to him. Boruto just had this feeling he couldn't shake off. Boruto was so deep in thought that he didn't notice Shikadai trying to get his attention.
"Hey, Boruto. Earth to Boruto", Shikadai says with concern.
"Oh,sorry Shikaru, what is it?" Boruto replies.
"Hey, if you want, I'll cover your shift tonight, ok,"says Shikadai
"Are you sure? I mean, I'm sure you have a family to-" Boruto asks.
" Its fine, my family can handle themselves well, and they sorta expect this already so its good with them." Shikadai replies with a grin. Boruto smiles back and nods.
"Well then, see you tomorrow Shikadai,"says Boruto.
"You too, don't wear yourself out." replies Shikadai. Boruto exits the Hokages office and starts heading home. He then returns to his thought process once again. He keeps thinking about his idea all the way till he gets to his doorstep. Thats when he makes his decision.
"Hey Sadara, I'm home," Boruto says calmly. When he hears no answer, he sighs. She still must be upset about Kai. Boruto walks into the living room where Sadara is sitting. he sits down next to her and puts his arm around her gently. Sadara looks up at Boruto. She looks like she had been crying for hours, but she doesn't say anything. Boruto sighs and takes a deep breath. "She's going to think I'm crazy when I tell her my idea." Hey Sadara, I need to tell you something." Boruto says softly
"What is it Boruto", Sarada says glumly.
" I think I've found a way to bring back our son", Boruto says hesintantly.
"Wait what. And here I think I've gone crazy" Sadara says sarcasticly while rolling her eyes.
"No Sadara, I dead serious. Just here me out ok." Boruto says with a serious look.
"Fine, what's this idea then?" Sadara asks.
"Well, do you remember that medical ninja from the hiddin mist named Arashi Henge (OC), the person who fought alongside us in the Fifth Great Ninja War and saved our lives," Boruto asks.
Sadara thinks for a moment before saying," Yes, I do remember him, wasn't he one of my cousins teammates?
"Yes, he was, but thats not the point". Boruto pauses for a moment then continues."Besides your mom, he has probably one of the best medical ninjustsus I've seen. So I was thinking......." Boruto trails off.
"What were you thinking," Sadara says as she raises one eyebrow.
"....That we can have Arashi revive Kai back from the dead,"replies Boruto.

Hey guys, sorry for dropping this cliffhanger, but thats just who I am. Make sure to leave a comment for some ideas for this story. Also for all that don't know the main character, Kai's apearance is like this: He has hair like Naruto, but spiker. Before he enters the acdemy he wears a plain white shirt, with an open hoodie that has the Uchiha clan symbol on the back with the Uzumaki clan symbol on the front. He wears black shorts with old style ninja boots. he also has blue eyes and balck wristbands.
