Chapter 4: Not my mate & My mate

  ~Veronica P.O.V~

After I woke up from the heart brake. I suddenly just didn't feel happy anymore. I just realized its also my birthday am I supposed to me happy?

I thought all my life Felix was my mate but I guess not.

I need to get dressed gotta make sure I close my door cause my room is a mess.

I walk downstairs and its too quiet.

oh crap I forget to tell the Alpha that my mom was gonna live with me.

I looked around in my house and I couldn't find her not even outside near my garden.

Lucky I am worried what if the Alpha knew she was here and I get kicked out of the pack.

"I am sure she is fine veronica just dont worry to much she could be shopping come on lets go to the pack house and talk about it to the Alpha about letting her stay."

I walk to the pack house it looks to empty and quiet.

I open the door to see if anyone was there I walk to the living room

EVERYONE SHOUTED SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

I had a shocked look on my face how do they know its my birthday I look like everyone is here even my mom and alpha Jack.

they all sang too me I was so happy that every kinda cared for me I thought they didn't at all.

The Alpha came up to me and said happy birthday and today I hope you find your mate

I never in my life thought he say something so nice.

I said thank you back to Jack.

then my mom came up and said today your 16 and you will find your mate it makes me so happy.

I enjoyed the party some what I was still sad because Felix was there with his mate.

I didn't even know how to feel then I just wanted to run out of the house and hide under my bed.

I stayed until the party was over I still wanted to leave though.

~Felix P.O.V~

I was walking to the woods to get Veronica from her house for the party.

I smelt something that was strange from her house. And it wasn't her smell I think someone broke into her home. I slowly walk up to her door and open it quietly and walked in and saw a woman she look middle-aged and had long beautiful hair.

I growled at her I didn't know why she was here and until she sensed me

Felix: Who are you?!

Ver mom: I am veronica's mom who are you

Felix: you should know me.

Ver mom: Felix?

Felix: yes I came here to get Veronica for the party.

Ver mom: how are we gonna do this and take her to the pack house and I can't come because your dad doesn't know I am here you remember I got kicked out

Felix: dont worry I will talk to him and ask him if you can stay with veronica

Ver mom: thank you Felix

Felix: Your welcome. We need a plan I think I got it ok why dont you go missing cause then veronica will look for you but, when she can't find you she will finally go to the pack house and ask for my dad's help to find you.

Ver mom: that sounds like a good plan it just mite work.

We both left the house and walked to the pack house. And i ask my dad and mom about the party my mom said yes, but then my dad like fine you set up but when he sees veronica mom he was like why is she here?

Dad she is here because her dad kick her out of the house. and plus that's her mom dad you can't kick her mom out and day we shouldn't be fighting today its veronica birthday.

We were gonna set up if you wonna help then you could if you dont then leave me alone.

After we were done setting up we scented veronica was near, So we all hid after we heard the door she slowly walked in and we all shouted

                HAPPY BIRTHDAY

She had a surprise look on her face and thought we forgot about there birthday.

But I didn't forget at all for god sakes she's my best friend I would never forget her birthday then suddenly I felt arms wrap around my neck its my mate taylor god I love her to death.

I saw Veronica looking at me with a upset look I felt bad.

~Veronica P.O.V~

After the party was over I gave hugs to people saying thank you for the party. I didn't see Felix anywheres so I also gave Jack a hug I still dont like him no matter what still even if I did give him a hug.

I walked out the door. And went to the woods when I was small I  went to my favorite place that my mom took me. It has a waterfall I was walking to the water. And I smelt some like a male rouge i followed the scent and I found him.

lucky dont you just love the smell.

I got really close and I seen his face.

I was kinda freak out at first because its my science partner and the guy that Emily likes.

I walked up to Erin really slow and he looked at me and said your mine.

I ran really quick I couldn't face having a mate yet I heard my name still being called but. I was long gone. I ran to my room decided to take a shower. And then walked to my bed and pass out I fell asleep really quick.
