Kara's POV:

                                                                              me
Hey Alex I just
                                                  got in a cab, be
                                                   home in 5. Are
                                                   you there yet?

alex
Yup, got here like
mind if I turn on
the t.v. while I wait?
I'm all ready to go
when you get here.

                                                                        me
Ya that's fine,
                                                 see you in a few.

I sighed, laying my phone down next to me on the leather seat of the taxi. Alex was in town for the weekend (I couldn't wait to tell her about all of my oh so fun adventures with The Flash from this past week) and we were going to the West's tonight for dinner. My parents we're out of town for their anniversary, so they were letting Alex and I stay there, right across the street from the West's.

The cab came to a stop and I payed the driver, getting out into the windy October weather. I rushed inside, fast walking up the pebble pathway, not wearing a jacket, and practically slammed the front door behind me.

"Nice entrance." Alex was turned around, looking at me from the couch.

"Alex!" I squealed, running over to her and giving her a bone-crushing squeeze.

"Hey, we can catch up later, you need to go get ready." She said and I smiled at her over my shoulder as I made my way up the stairs with my duffel bag.

Using my handy super speed to change, I was done in 15 seconds and was just putting on a few pieces of jewelry, when I heard Alex's voice again.

"Kara! You're gonna want to see this!" She yelled, but I could tell she was laughing. I finished and headed downstairs.

Central City News was on the T.V., their most popular anchors spilling this week's latest. But, unfortunately for me, this week's latest was one of my worst nightmares.

". . .following last week's news burst of flirtatious photos featuring our City's own Flash and Supergirl, it appears that this super-duo has captured the attention of citizens young and old. And now it seems the fans have decided, naming the two hero's romantic pairing; SuperFlash." Bob Cowan, one of the anchors, motioned to photos of me (well Supergirl) and The Flash in glorious high definition.

"The ship-name, as the kids say, is quite catchy, as it has become the most trending hashtag on multiple social media platforms, such as; Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more. You know Bob, I don't think Metropolis gets this kind of excitement with their Man of Steel! I wouldn't be surprised if-" I clicked the off button on the remote, the screen turning black and sound dying away. I was furious and out of my mind embarrassed.

"Oh. My. God." Alex said, bursting into a hysterical fit of laughter, rolling on the couch. I gave her a glare hotter than my heat vision. "Ok, Ok. Phew, sorry Kara, but that was like, one of the funniest news casts I have ever seen."

"Shut-up." I said, rolling my eyes and walking out the door, waiting for her to follow.

Barry's POV:

I was sitting in my old room upstairs, contemplating what was the best way the act with Kara at dinner, when I heard the sound of the door bell, followed by voices and the opening and closing of the front door.
