Family Reunion

We traveled through the paths and stared in awe of how beautiful Olympus looked. It looked just the same as how Phil told me, the trees grew higher than a Titan, the flowers bloom brighter than golden apples, and the sun shines brighter than the fires of Hephaestus' forge. "Children, welcome to Olympus." Zeus said. "Each of you displayed loyalty." Zeus said. "Derek you showed determination and the will to never say no." Poseidon said. "Marcus you showed that music can be deadly as well as relaxing." Apollo said. "Kayla you showed that love is something no one shall ever lose, and you were a ear to those who needed to speak." Aphrodite said. "Sarah you showed women are more than an object, women can fight as much as men can." Athena said. "Trevor you showed courage and forgiveness, the true traits of a soldier." Ares said. "Kevin you have also shown determination and what it means to live in the fast lane." Hermes said. "Jason you have shown leadership and the value of teamwork." Zeus said. "Finally Nathan, you have learned the difference between fighting for family and fighting for vengeance, you have demonstrated leadership as well, and most importantly you risked your life to save not only your mother, but also Hercules, and Hermes." Zeus said. "Not to mention you killed Kronos." Poseidon said. "We thank you eight for saving Olympus and the world from complete annihilation, we owe you a debt we can never repay." Athena said. "Actually there is one thing you give us." Kayla said. "And what is that, name your price?" Zeus said. "All we want is for you to bring back Nathan's mother." Jason said. "And maybe some new sparring gear for Camp Demigod." Derek said. "Is that all?" Hermes asked. "We want the "Olympian offspring" law revoked." Sarah said. "So be it." Zeus said. "Now we will send you back to Camp Demigod, and tell Phil that Zeus sent you." Zeus said. He sent us back to the camp where Phil saw and ran towards me with excitement. He jumped at me and hugged me. "I thought you weren't gonna make it back kid." Phil said. "Hey where's your faith Dad?" I asked. "So you found your real dad?" Phil asked. "Yeah it's Hades." I said. Damon walked up to Phil. "Hey I want you to meet someone, Phil this is Damon my brother." I said. "Hey another challenger for Trevor. He's the reigning champion in the sparring ring." Phil said. "Welcome home Damon." I said. "I think I'm going to like it here." Damon said. "Oh yeah you're going to love it here." Derek said. Well that's my story, I learned to fight for family, not vengeance. Zeus kept his word and freed my mother and the gods come every weekend to visit the camp. I'm not going to say we lived happily ever after, but finally for the first time in my life I felt at home. But I would soon discover that I had become a part of something far more darker than Kronos, and what we went through in the Underworld was just the beginning.
