Crushing on Luke. L.H.

Entry 14

June 4th 2013-part two
Of course he's here. How I forget he's friends with Paul, this is just great.
I look at him,he's so cute.
"Lily" Mary says I snap out of my thoughts
"Yeah?" I say looking at Mary
She nods her head to the house,all of us girls get up,when I get up I feel Luke staring at me. We walked into the front yard.

"I swear I didn't know he was coming here." Mary says
"It's fine. I'll just ignore him."
"Do you still like him?" Carrie asked
"I'm trying not to" I say running my fingers down my hair.
"Oh. I'm so sorry what happened yesterday, I know you really liked him,it must of hurt." Carrie responded

Mary help up her finger telling us she will be back in one minute. She ran back in the backyard.

"Yeah,it hurt bad. I practically spent a couple months, crushing over him. Turns out he doesn't like me anymore" I say trying to get those last five words out.
"I know someone else will catch your eye and not be such a ass to you."
"I hope" sighing

Mary ran over to us.

"So I guess we're playing man hunt with them." she said putting her hands on her hips.

"Real-" I said. looking over, the boys were walking over to us.

"Lilyyyy" Stephen said walking over to me with his arms open. I felt awkward, Stephen is nice and all but he's weird.

"um hi" I said quietly.
I saw Luke in the corner of my eyes glaring at me.
Stephen hugged me,then walked over to Paul.

"So are you two dating or?" Luke asked
"N-" I was interrupted by Mary
"Alright are we gonna play or not?" Mary asked looking over at me smiling.
"Yes" Paul said.

We made our groups there were 10 of us 4 boys and 3 girls. These were the teams.

Stephen
Me
Mary
Luke

The other group went

Paul
Ed
Carrie

Of course I was with Luke. We started to play the game. Pauls group had to find us

I ran away with Mary laughing.
"Shhh, Lily" Mary said
"Sorry"I whispered
Luke and Stephen were behind us.
"Let's break off" Mary said
"Ok?" Stephen said
"I call Lily" Luke said
Great.
"Um, I wanted lily" Stephen said
I scrunched up my nose.
"Ok fine your with me" Mary said to Stephen. Then they both ran somewhere else.
"Where should we go?" I asked Luke
"Follow me" He said

I followed him. We ran past Mary's back yard into a field that had woods in the back of the field. We then entered the woods. We sat down behind a really big tree.

We were both out of breath. I set my hand down next to Luke, so did he at the same time. His hand brushed against mine. We looked at each other

"Sorry" I whispered moving my hand away.
"It's fine" he whispered smiling.

There was that awkward silence.
"Are you dating Stephen?" he blurted out
"What.No!"
"Oh I thought you were"
"No never" I laughed.
"oh"
We sat there quietly. I looked over at Luke who was drawing something with a stick in the dirt.

"Lily?" Luke said
"Yes Luke"
"I'm sorry"
"For???"
I think he was talking about yesterday.
"For.. Not talking to you much,not telling you about Marisa"

I cringed at the sound of her name.
"It's fine I just thought you tell me since we were so close." I said looking into his eyes.

He nodded.
"I'm really sorry" He whispered

He looked at me smiling, I did the same. We both leaned in, I got butterflies in my stomach. I've been crushing on him forever. His lips brushed against mine.

Then we heard people running over to us. We separated, I twirled my hair with my fingers. I felt myself blush.

"Found you!" Carrie said flashing a flash light in my eyes.

We walked back to Mary's house. Us girls ended up watching Mean Girls and Netflix.

I rolled over to fall asleep. Thinking what happened today. Luke and I almost kissed. What would happen if we did? He would technically be cheating on Marisa,not that I like her anyway. I hope Luke and I can become
Closer again, I miss him.
