"Kailan ka ba titigil diyan sa bisyo mo, ha?"

"Wow, Dad. Ang gandang bungad naman niyan. Hindi ba pwedeng you offer a seat first?", Thirdy chuckled at umupo.

"Do you think you deserve a seat in my office na ganyan ka, lasing?", answered his Dad.

"Woah. Edi tatayo", mocking his father.

"Wag mo 'kong subukan Ferdinand Ravena III.", Bong uttered firmly.

Umupo ng maayos si Thirdy pagkatapos marinig ang buong pangalan niya. He won't make a joke anymore cause he knows his dad, he can make his life a hell just by a snap.

"Sorry, sir.", he said habang nakayuko.

Silence filled the office.

"Catch."

Thirdy put his hands together automatically and a key fell into his palm.

Confused, he was able to ask his father.

"Ano 'to Dad?"

"Are you really that slow? Susi yan", his dad tries to be sarcastic.

"No. I mean, I--Dad, I know this is a key pero para saan 'to?"

"I bought you a condo", plain na sagot ng tatay niya.

"Oh God, Dad! Thank you!", he said and throw himself to hug his father. "Thank you so much, Dad. I really really appreciate this."

"Of course you deserve it. I know what you've been up to. Minus na lang ang pagkababaero at pagiging party man mo.", Bong chuckled. "Basta every weekend, sa bahay ka. Your mom will be upset, alam mo naman yun.", he added.

"Of course, Dad. But really, thank you.", and broke the hug.

"So kamusta naman yung pinagkakaabalahan mo?" asked his dad.

"Okay naman, Dad. But how did you know?"

"Of course, I have ways Thirdy.", his Dad smirked. "Just continue what you think is best and always remember that I have your back. Just tell me what you need."

Thirdy smiled, "Thanks Dad. I will."

"Oy! What happened? Mukha kang aburido.", asked her friend, Maddie.

"Naaah. Just this I-don't-give-a-damn-guy bumped me and you know what? He cursed! As if it's my fault. The hell!", she answered.

"Huy kalma. Grabe ka naman. You should be happy because we are here to parteeeh!", excited na sabi ni Ponggay.

"Yeaah! Sa wakas! Nakapagdecide ka na din na umuwi dito sa Pilipinas at sumali sa team. Good choice ka dun beh!", dagdag pa ni Jho.

"Yes, I missed you all, of course. And I miss playing too.", her mood changed suddenly just the thought having her friends again and playing with them as well.

"So Ateneo ka na talaga?!", asked Deanna excitedly.

"Yezzi.", she answered.

Her friends celebrated and made a cheers.

"But!", sabi niya na umani naman ng pagtutol galing sa mga kaibigan niya.

"Bakit may but pa, beh? Hindi pa ba sapat na rason na magkakasama na tayo para di ka na magdalawang isip?", Jho.

"We never know, beh. Dad might change his mind. You know him, he might love you today but hate you tomorrow.", paliwanag ni Bea sa mga kaibigan.

"We hope Tito Elmer won't change his mind this time.", sabi ni Maddie

"Pero bakit ba yan pinag-uusapan natin e diba dapat nagsasaya tayo ngayon? Woooh parteeeh!", sagot naman ni Ponggay at tumayo na dala-dala ang shot glass sa gitna ng dance floor.

"Tara naaaa!", they said in chorus.
