Chapter Two: Meetings&Merch

After about an hour, the guards opened the gates and began letting everyone in. More people had shown up as time passed. As I walked up to the ticket booth, I handed the girl my ticket. She had wavy blond hair that had the tips dyed blue. She was wearing a Pierce The Veil shirt. I also noticed she had a nose piercing. Yup. Definitely here for the music. After entering the packed arena, I looked around me. There was at least fifty stands set up selling merchandise. There were some selling Sleeping with Sirens merch, Pierce the Veil, Simple Plan, Set It Off.... Wait, SET IT OFF?! I quickly marched over to the Set it Off stand, set on getting more merch. I ended up getting a lanyard, some Duality leggings, and a Duality hat. Happy with my purchases, I left the stand. I heard an announcer say that Set it Off would be performing, so I quickly rushed over to the pit. Somehow I got lucky and ended up in the front. Perfect. I smiled as I watched Cody walk on stage, followed by Maxx, Danny, and Zach. "WHATS UP L.A.?!"(yes this story takes place in Los Angeles. For now.) Cody shouted out to the crowd as they roared in excitement. "Today we will be performing a few songs from our new album Upside Down.." Cody paused for dramatic effect, "Then a few from Duality. We will also have a surprise song at the end. But, it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now" He smiled his award winning smile and nodded at his friends, telling them to start playing. They started off with Hypnotized. I smiled brightly as I heard Cody's angelic voice. He was an amazing singer and rapper, he was hot as hell, and he is one of the nicest people you've ever met(I hope). All in all, he's perfect. After a few more songs(Upside Down, Uncontainable, and Me W/O Us), he started singing Diamond Girl. This is the first song I listened to by Set it Off, so it's automatically(one of)my favorite. When I listen to it, it always makes me smile and its what kept me alive during my high school years. As Cody performed, I noticed that we kept making eye contact. I didn't think much of it, because he quickly looked away after each time, but when he started singing the chorus, he held the eye contact. This of course, made me blush madly. He noticed this, and I swear I saw him smile. The song soon ended, and so did our staring contest. They performed songs from the Duality album(in the same order that the album is in) until it was finally time for the surprise song. "Now the moment you've all been waiting for. Our surprise song. Maxx, can I get a drumroll please?" Maxx did as Cody asked, both of them slightly smiling. "Now, our mystery song is..."
