You woke up the next morning to the sound of a crazed Mexican chewing you out for not making him a burrito, AKA your alarm setting. You groggily sat up and let your finger fall on the screen of your phone to get the Mexican to shut up. You roll lazily our of bed to let the numbness in your feet subside. tonight was the party, and you were not going to look like a zombie when you go.

Rin slowly rose and rubbed his eye. "my eye itches." he complained. without a word you went downstairs and grabbed a bottle of eye drops, then you went back upstairs. "maybe if you weren't sleeping in your soup you wouldn't have this problem. your phone started to ring. you checked the caller ID. the phone showed you a picture of your landlord. who was also your boss in a weird way. this was an inside joke between you two. you answer your phone.

"hey man," you say.

"Y/N, you still on for tonight?"

"yeah, why?"

"just checking."

then he hung up. it wasn't unusual for your boss to call you for no particular reason. you slipped your phone in your pocket and let it slide.

"Y/N!" yelled Rin, "where are you?"

"I'm downstairs!" was your response. Rin appeared at the foot of the stairs and heaved a sigh of relief. he took a step and slipped on a pile of peanuts. the regulars would throw peanut shells on the floor to help keep the wood fresh.

"damn peanuts." he said bluntly.

You threw down your phone and walked over to help him up. you offer Rin a hand and he gladly takes it.

"we're going to a party tonight aren't we?" he asks.

"yup" you say to set him straight. you knew from what you saw so far that Rin was not a morning person. "this is going to be fun." you think to yourself.

you finally got Rin up on his feet for the day which required making him coffee, telling him to shave, arguing over weather he should wear his uniform or not, and throwing him in the shower. the last thing you had to do was get ready for the party. you chose to wear a blue denim jacket and bluejeans with a white T-shirt. Rin decided to wear something similar only without the jacket. Ton had to drive you both but he said he couldn't stay because nights were when the bar was at its fullest. on your way to the party you asked Ton to stop by the bank. you chaught them just before closing. the five checks amounted up to about three thousand dollars. you pocketed the money for later use and told Ton to keep going.

about ten minutes later you reached the door to your landlords house.
