16th july 2017;
its been a pretty crap day today. work has honestly never been so boring. i want to be writing all the columns and articles, not be stuck editing endless piles of them; im more than a grammar checker.
anyway, to cheer myself up i went to the coffee shop after i finally finished my editing pile. i had two cups of coffee, which is probably why im wide awake at 2 am writing this instead of sleeping. there was this girl there, she must have been in high school, sat writing in a notebook and i wanted to read what she was writing so bad. i'm very curious when it comes to other's creative outlets and to be honest, i probably would invade someone's privacy in order to see whatever form of art it is, because its fucking beautiful.
jimin scoffed to himself, closing the journal as he placed it in the top drawer of his costly desk. he did exactly that, with exactly the same intentions. he wanted to see this girl's creative outlet and yes, so far it was fucking beautiful. from reading a few pages, with the contact details noted on the first place legibly, he discovered her name was rose and somehow he could tell it suited her perfectly.
"come in." he mumbled, clearing his throat as a knock sounded at the door. an elderly man, beaming with happiness, stepped into the office as he bowed politely. "what can I help you with?" jimin asked, worrying that he somehow missed something due to this journal.
"we have a problem sir." he panicked, his polite composure shattering as he took a seat in front of his boss. "our sales have dropped again and wonder magazine are creeping up to us." he frowned, biting his lip nervously.
"we've literally changed nothing, i don't get why people stop buying from us." jimin exclaimed in frustration, pushing himself back from his desk and standing up. he started to pace the room as he paused in realisation. "maybe that's the problem."
jungsoo nodded in agreement, his sandy coloured hair flopping over his eyes. "i could ask the research and development team to change what they're doing straight away?" he suggested and jimin nodded. jungsoo left the room, bowing again before he left. the sun was beginning to set, rays of pink and orange merged in the sky to create a picturesque view from his office window. "i wonder what rose is doing right now?" he wondered, shaking his head at inessential thoughts. he had more significant things be dealing with right now.
----
"it's got to be here somewhere!" she shouted in frustration, the contents of her tote bag disguising the flowered duvet. her dark coloured hair was messily scattered all over her flustered face as she sighed loudly. everything was in her journal. she frowned and felt her heated cheeks with her petite hands, she needed to calm down.
after already checking at the coffee shop, roses hope had completely diminished. someone was certainly uncovering the real rose.
