Akira leaped across the floor, soaring through the air. He twirled his body through the air and leaned slightly forward for his landing, only to overshoot it and fall flat on his face.
Akira groaned in pain as he sat himself up. He looked at his close friend, Yusuke, who had been helping him practice dancing. Yusuke looked deep in thought and even kind of disappointed. It wrenched at Akira's heart. Despite being friends, Akira always looked up to Yusuke. He was always effortlessly beautiful as was his art and anything he put his mind to.
Yusuke suddenly snapped out of his daze and glided towards Akira. He gracefully held out his hand, which Akira quickly took, and helped him up.
"I think it was a mistake to have let you try to dance alone. Perhaps I should assist you to help you grasp a better understanding of what it is we are tying to learn." Yusuke stated. Akira nodded, although he averted his eyes from Yusuke. The thought of being so close to him and having Yusuke's gentle hands guiding him through each move was almost too much for him right now. "Okay. Now, let us start from the beginning once more."
Akira moved back into the first position. He was down on one knee, facing the mirror. His arms lay firmly at his side. Yusuke began to play the music. It was an Arabic hip-hop fusion that a nice jazzy undertone to it. As the music began to play, Akira slowly rose. Unexpectedly, Yusuke placed his hands on his waist. Akira tensed slightly but brushed it off and tried to keep his focus. He snaked his torso from side to side. Yusuke helped him move his hips as did so. "Your motions must be smoother. You are a snake rising from its wicker basket, bewitched by the music. Not a metal bat being swung."
Akira nodded once again and followed his movements, doing his best to follow his friend's unusual advice.
~~TIME SKIP BECAUSE I CAN'T DANCE, MUCH LESS WRITE ABOUT IT~~
Akira raised his leg into the air for the millionth time that day, trying to perfect the move. Yusuke placed his hand on his calf. Akira attempted to ignore the sudden rise in his body temperature.
"You keep raising your leg too low. It needs to be much higher." He slid his hand further up Akira's leg and pushed it further up. He felt himself began to shake as it moved further and further until he lost control and fell.
And, as Yusuke's hand was still on Akira's leg, he had fallen with him.
Their bodies were close enough to feel the heat radiating off of both of them. Their noses were barely touching and Yusuke's hair framed his face. He looked beautiful, almost angelic. Akira's unsuccessfully forced down the rising redness in his face.Akira suppressed the urge to kiss him in that very moment.
So, in order to prevent such a thing from happening, he pushed off his friend and hastily grabbed his belongings.
"Akira, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, nothing. I just --- something has come up and I gotta--"
Yusuke couldn't hear the rest of this sentence as Akira had run out of the dance studio and slammed the door shut behind him, leaving him alone and confused.

That was terrible. But sadly not the ironic terrible of the fucking vine compilation I watched while writing this.
