Emotions To Break The Barrier

My eyes couldn't help but zoom in and out as Master sat in his chair studying hard, with formulas twirling around like a sponge he absorbed the equations understanding and exploring childishly. Master has always never stopped surprising me as his knowledge spread out like the never ending vast Pacific ocean, being a child in my eyes and utilizing and understanding such higher skills. I hate to see Master in such a weak state with so many valuable skills, just yesterday he increases the resolution of my eyes making my vision sharper and even better he installed a virtual screen for my benefit. He is attractive and has the brains but yet he is not a perfect child as his past still limits him, if only he can break that barrier then I'm sure his father would be very proud of him. How he manages to stay independent and yet so full of youth it makes me wonder how humans are such intelligent creatures?

"That is all for today, Lucifer I'll tell your dad about your clear positive progress"

Master has become some what mute from his poor childhood but nevertheless he never lets that get in the way of his goals, he nods as the tutors leaves handing his homework flashing a kind smile at me. As soon as the empty mansion echoed with the click of the main doors closing Master looks at me like every time signalling to me his hungry state. I maybe programmed to smile and laugh to become more child friendly but Master has always seen through it and it aggravates him so I try not to do what he doesn't like. I walk for the corner of the room near the doorway where I always stood silently listening to Master's lessons in progress in case he needs anything. I place a plate of a sandwich in front of him like he requested on top of his glossy smooth white desk, it had taken me a while to understand his language of eyes and gestures but when we a alone he tends to speak.

"Asteria how was the test I did last week?"

"Perfectly flawless Master."

I did a bow like I was programmed to do studying the letters and algebraic formulas blooming on the sheets of paper scattering over his desk mentally ticking the correct ones. Master has always thought of my benefit even when we had no relationship in the past but now he treats me like family, like a family I've always wanted. I have never forgotten the look in his eyes till this day, when I went on auction. His eyes had a spark of regret and longing as he pointed to me patting my head as my senses exploded for the first time in years, I had never felt so wanted as I had lost hope for a Master to take me home. His pitch black hair felt soft on my forehead as he lightly tapped his against mine locking his void eyes contain something they hadn't held for ages, his mouth twitches upwards slowly as he saw something in me he craved for. Love.

No not only that he found hope and a reason to live life to the fullest again but this made me wonder into undiscovered territory. But a robot like me has no emotions so this made me wonder even deeper into uncharted human territory for us robots, how can a machine like me give such unbound emotion to a human I didn't even know about?

Over the few months not that long he started to explain and open up to me making me a precious exquisitely carved out intelligent metallic object.

"Asteria we need to talk..."

I gave a respectful nod and followed behind him to his room where he sat me down onto a stool with no back rest. This is his experimental stool where he opened my hatch and operated on my system for his gain, I don't mind and am not supposed to mind what my Master does to me because robots in this world are ruled over his race.

"Asteria we're leaving."

"Leaving?"

I could hear the sound of compressed air escaping as my back two plates opened like a cabinet to reveal my internal wiring system. Every time this is opened or I'm being given upgrades the straight matte black linear lines which crawled over my skin and linking over my left eye glowed a neon marine light blue. These lines which stood bold on my skin trailed through my hair and my belt on my neck to my headset covering the place where human ears are. The external wires of my headset and tattoo like linear line released a burst of tinted blue light.
