Ally's POV
I stood up. 'Yah, don't you have anything better to do, rather than to irritate innocent kids?'
'Actually I do,' he said, 'I do have something better to do; that is to pick on you, my dear.'
Gosh, I wanted to slap that smirk out of his face. I gave him the death glare, to which resulted in him, smiling evilly. 'Stop hurting the children or else,' I warned.
Dom stopped squishing Nathan's cheek and the two boys stopped stuffing food into Lily's mouth, and Dom slammed his hands on the table. 'Or else what? You will reveal one of my secrets? You will call the police? You will put make-up on me. Trust me honey, I would really like that,' he said, confidently.
'Or...or...o-or...' I struggled to find an excuse.
'Awww, cat got your tongue?' He smirked for the nth time.
Then I thought of something and instead I smirked back at him. As I smirked at him, I noticed Dom's smirk disappearing off of his face. 'Awwwwwww, never mind about what I'll do, you will never listen to me,' I said, twirling my hair around my finger, 'I am just glad that today specifically you've listened to me.'
Dom's facial expressions were now confused, which was priceless to see and funny to look at. 'What? When have I listened to you?' He questioned.
'Just now,' I said, like I was some teacher, 'earlier when I said "stop hurting the children", you actually did, if you haven't noticed. You unknowns stopped and so did your minions.'
Dom looked at the kids, who had now secretly run away to Joe's side of the table while they had the chance, and then back at me.
'Ooooooooooh, snap!' I heard everyone in the cafeteria whisper and "ooooh" and "aaaah" and "aayyee" around the place.
I glanced over to everyone at my table; they were silently laughing at my remark. I am glad I humiliated him. I looked at Dom; he was now giving me the death glare. Then he spoke, 'Yh, I only listen to the people with bad grades, so...'
'Ooooh!' I heard everyone say.
Did he just say my grades are bad?! Excuse-em-moi?! No one, and I mean NO ONE says my grades are bad, even if they are bad.
Anger fumed inside of me and for a second, I thought smoke was coming out of my ears. Dom carried on, 'Wow, once you got 16/60 on a Maths test. That's like, 20%!'
'Ooooh!' Everyone went, again. Tbh, that actually did happen, but that was supposed to be a secret. Well, now it isn't a secret. Thanks, Dom.
I sarcastically laughed. I fired back at him, smirking while doing so. 'It's actually 26.6% recurring, which is rounded to 27, so... Who's the clever one now?!'
'Oh-' everyone went, but Dom put his hand up, making everyone stop halfway through saying it. 'You think you're so clever, don't you?'
I scoffed. 'I don't think I'm so clever, I know I'm so clever.'
I sat down, put one leg over the other leg and put my hands to either side of me, smirking at him. Just when I thought I had beaten him for the first time, he talks again. 'Sorry, I don't understand. I don't speak stupid.' He high-fived with his mates, laughing.
Everyone was silently "oooohh"ing and I unraveled my legs so that they were next to each other. That did it: I can't lose to him. I walked up to him and raised my hand to slap him, but stopped midway. I unknowingly smirked. 'Oh man, I'd slap you, but that would be animal abuse and cruelty.'
'Aye!' Everyone cheered me on.
Dom scoffed and rolled his eyes numerous times. 'Keep rolling your eyes, maybe you will find a brain in the back of your head.' I fired back at him, quickly. I might actually beat him for the first time... But no, Dom just had to talk again. 'You actually aren't that clever; we evolved from animals, you idiot.'
I raised my eyebrow, while smirking. 'Yeah, so if I throw a stick, would you leave and stop speaking trash. It is getting messy in this place and it stinks. I would like to challenge you to a battle of wits and cleverness, but I see you are unarmed.'
I was so proud of myself in that moment. 'Oh sorry, was I supposed to be offended?' Dom asked, smirking smugly.
(A/N- Sorry, there are a lot of smirking in this story; I really like that word, "smirking". It seems so mischievous...)
Before I could say anything, he beat me to it. 'Unless your name is Google, stop acting like you know everything.'
Seriously, this boy wants to get slapped. This boy is getting on my nerves. This boy is pushing my buttons. I was raging with anger. 'I was going to give you a nasty look, but I see you already have one.'
Everyone (I could tell) was either scared or loving this argument. I wanted this to end; we still have 30 minutes (half an hour) of lunch left. I walked past him, purposely nudging his shoulder. Dom shouted, 'You're so ugly, you make onions cry!'
I widened my eyes and mouth and stopped walking. HOW DARE HE INSULT FOOD LIKE THAT?!?!!!? I turned around and walked towards him, until I was standing in front of him. 'Oh, am I a mirror? Besides, mirrors don't talk and luckily for you, they don't laugh.'
From the corner of my eye, I could see everyone from every table standing up, trying to get a better view of this scene. Thank God, no teachers were here. 'Seriously, what kind of parents brought up a trash-talking, ugly food-insulter?' I walked towards the exit.
'Funny, sweet, pretty and nice parents, the total opposite of yours.'
I froze, on the spot. M-my parents... That hit me hard, really hard. I couldn't move, or even have the nerve to face him. I was having trouble breathing at this touchy subject. I was standing, frozen, with my back facing him; he couldn't see tears forming in my eyes.
'Your dad is also a trash-talker and he is abusive and alcoholic. Your sister is such a playgirl, always breaking boy's hearts and she also abused you. And your mum isn't funny or nice; she is the opposite. She never makes any mistakes or jokes... Actually she did make a mistake and a joke... You.'
Tears were threatening to fall; I didn't want to stay here and hear him say bad stuff about my parents, which isn't true. He is going over the limit. I turned around and walked to him angrily with a high stance. I was about to punch him, until he spoke, 'Where are your parents, Ally? Where is your sister?'
H-How could h-he say t-that? He k-knows what happened t-to them. I quickly looked down, after looking at everyone, who seemed surprised, speechless and sad. Tears were streaming down my face. I put my hand down, the hand I was going to punch him with. I glanced quickly at the new students, who seemed confused and sad. I get that they are confused; they don't know what happened. 'Look up, Ally. There are right there, in hell or in heaven?' Dom said, chuckling, pointing at the ceiling. He put his hand down and he signalled to his friends, that they should go to another table.
I needed to be alone for a few minutes. I couldn't deal with this anymore. I ran out of the cafeteria, everyone's eyes on me, as I left. Dom, you betrayed me, you humiliated me and now you are going over the limits. I will never forget this, Dom. Till the day I die.
