"What are you talking about, Bell?" He asks me as he holds my shoulders.

"Lets leave. Just move somewhere."

He scrunches his eyebrows at me, "Like where?"

"America." I state and look him dead in the eye. Shock is the only thing written on his face, "Bell, I can't afford to just leave. I can't even afford the flights let alone have the money to stay there."

I shake my head at him, grab hold of his hand and lead him out to his car. I climb in the passenger door and he jumps in the drivers.

"You're serious aren't you?" he questions me as he looks into space.

I nod my head, "Yup,"

"Where did all this come from anyway?"

I zone out, I can feel him looking at me, waiting for me to answer but when I don't he sighs and starts the car and drives away.

"Am I dropping you home?" He asks,

I look at him, "I thought you were gonna cook me dinner," I state shyly. Not sure if he is still up for it or not.

He shrugs and turns into the opposite direction of my house and heads out of town.

As I watch the trees speed by I can't help but think that maybe this move will be good for me. Maybe, for once, just once, I can be happy. I mean, I moved to a new town after mumma died, but people knew me, they knew my past and they know what happened. I just wanted to run away. So far away, that no one knows me, no one knows my past.

Its like starting a new chapter, and I have a gut feeling this will be a good move.

I'm sure he could live off me until he finds a job to support himself, he won't need to pay me back, he'll be paying me back by being my best friend. I can already see us becoming very close.

I'll find us a nice three bedroom apartment, with a balcony buy all new furniture, fully stock the cupboard. Give him some money each week, and buy us both a car each. Whatever he wants. Yes, I realise that I'm buying my happiness but hey, I deserve to be happy.

I can feel the car slow down and we pull into a long driveway, trees lining the drive on both sides. The driveway is gravel and when we turn the corner the house comes into view. A two story white pannelled house, with a light brown deck a big dark brown front door with two windows in it.

The deck looks like it runs all around the house.

I smile, I love this house.

"Glad you think so baby girl," Darrell says as he turns the car off.
