The following morning, I was woken up by the stuffy sound of the water drops. The little soldiers of heavy rain were trying to satisfy their chief upstairs, regarding making his orders fulfilled and went on knocking on the outside windows. I was forced to faced the reality and get out of my warm bed early, at 4:30 AM. Unfortunately the least favorite Monday, a beginning of another week, has just started.

I still kept suffocating the though inside of my mind, that weird nightmare, about which I was dreaming the day before, could mean something more, something important. I need to talk to anyone about what had happened to me. I can't stand the fact, which contained that practically everything directed my thoughts back to this accident. It just poisoned the way, how I had been thinking recently.

I quickly splashed the cold water on my face to keep the wave of another memories in a certain distance. I focused all of my concentrating on the appearance in the mirror in front of me, showing the deepest details of very familiar face. Nayely, just an ordinary girl with dark chocolate skin, short dark colored hair, whose length reached her shoulders and two bright eyes. These bright eyes, confidently shining with its blue seductiveness, forced everybody around to escape from the reality and dedicate their lasting attention to focus on reaching two deep grounds of the never-ending oceans.

I have always loved rain. It called out many positive emotions and the relief of not being stressed out all the time. I would have gone on watching the pearls, aimlessly falling from the sky, from the meadow with dark clouds, looking out as a bunch of grazing flock, if someone hadn't interrupted me. "Ange! Let's go, we'll be late!" the affectionate voice of my friend jumped into my thoughts. Her angelic appearance of beauty supplied me a sufficient amount of courage and kindness. She was endowed with a long hair, whose strands were spinning around her smooth face as a spirals in a color of blood. The powerful red was considered as a sign of unpredictable flames of fire, ruling with the abilities to destroy, to delete every barrier, standing in their planned way. The look was completed by pair of cold light eyes, whose depth easily impressed everybody around, white snowy skin and rosy cheeks, ornamented with few spots full of cute little freckles.

She was beautiful. Her beauty interpreted the picture of simple perfection, cruelly taking the self-confidence of the other girls and ignite desire in the men's hearth.

Honestly, I could say with a light press inside of me that here was no better friend I could ask for besides her. She always stood on my side, no matter what, and knew answers for my pointless questions.

"Stop staring at me! It looks kinda creepy. Common, you ought to know very well the consequences of being late." expressed her witty note Nora, whereas the fleeting smile quickly flight over her full lips. "Okay, let's go." I nodded and calmly left the room.

We joined the group of other few girls, obediently wearing uniforms, and together went into the hallway, which served as a dining room or in the another case as a center of giving necessary information, according to the certain important occasions. We got a poor portion of breakfast as usual and quietly found our typical seats.

All of us were willing to accept our strict daily routine, even though the directions of our attitudes were purposed differently. Probably, I ought to be appreciated for kinda peaceful calm life, leading my faith forward to achieve success. I was able to feel, how much the horrible conditions here had made me strong enough to survive as a responsible individual just for himself. Whereas I was paying full of my attention to the pointless thoughts, running as a bunch of chaotic mess in my mind, Nora with two other girls interrupted my loneliness. "Hey girl, what's wrong with you today?" She gave a slight sign. I noticed the significant presents of concerns in her usually thrilling sweet voice. "Until the morning, you seem to me as an empty soul, looking out with no emotions and no feelings. You don't even touch your food! Literally, that's really strange, cause usually, you are the first one, who is sitting and eating here. You're making me worried." Maybe, she was right, something was wrong with me. However, I decided not to let her to be part of my issues, according to the weird dreams, cruelly chasing my mind on every step. "Honestly Nora, who likes this disgusting thing here. It can't be called...food." A little smile fluttered my lips and added necessary assurance to my statement. "Nothing is wrong. I'm having just a bad day, I guess." I opposed. She gave a slight sign, leaned back in her chair and as a defeated one nodded.

"Hey girls, what's up?" Have you heard about the Sophie's case, yet ?" one of the less wanted girls at our school with such an annoying character, Helen, joined our squad without asking and opened the new topic of our conversation. We exchanged with each other quick looks, full of confusion and lacking knowledge, regarding the main meaning of her question. "You have no idea, what's going on here right now. I was just passing nurse room few minutes ago and heard an interview between Mrs. Axtell, our kind nurse and Mrs. Wickham. It seemed like that Sophia is infected by the disease so-called Red Plague." she ended her dramatic speech and hastily glanced over our frightened looks. "That sounds so scary. What is that? What does it mean?" the panic together with chaos started to predominate.

"The Smallpox." quiet voice, responding to our questions belonged to Ruth, to the girl with curly short-cut hair and shy hazel eyes, hiding their existence behind the rims of her glasses. "It's a life threaten serious disease. It settles itself in small blood vessels of the skin in the mouth and throat. There is a chance that affected individual might." she stopped abruptly. "Might what? Tell us Ruth!" screamed Nora nervously. I was able to feel the mixture of anger and fear as a dominant majority in her acting. This whole situation seemed to me for a while, as if Ruth abruptly forgot, what she needed to say and what we needed to hear. "Pass away." The last part was whispered by her much more silently, that all of us had certain issues to clearly understand the sense of her charming words. In fact, her round rattled face was usually immersed in the pages of old books, to which she paid all of her attention and free time. As I remembered, this was the longest sentence, which I had ever heard from her. Everybody's minds began to be fulfilled by curious questions, whose answers just didn't exist...or nobody was able to answer them.

Our table became a lonely star, quietly shining and giving an impression of eccentric attitude on the sky. None of us was brave enough to begin speaking loudly and as a first one. The girls kept drowning their emotions on the bottom of the deep oceans. We were aware of chances, which directed to the consequences, achieving their purposes in a terrible way. If Helen was right, all of the students, attending our school would occur in such a life threaten danger.
