First round was the most stressful one! I was a little sad to see Nini lose, I thought her and Smoochum did a fabulous performance! Jessilee won the round and it was the next performers. Watching how things went was making me more nervous by the second. My attitude today has been a little bi-polar....first I'm confident then I'm not. It's just back and forth and it's making me very dizzy. When it was Serena's time to come out I was basically off of my chair because of how nervous I was for her.
Serena was against one of her biggest rivals Miette and I hope she didn't feel too much pressure, because her performances are always amazing! Watching her and Braixen have fun together made me smile. When I saw she got the most votes I started cheering very loudly along with Stacey and April. Someone even came into our dressing room to find out what the screaming was about.
Lastly was Shauna and some other unfamiliar performers. It wasn't a shock that she got through the first round because she's a beast at performing. Her and Ivysaur have such a tight bond and you can really see that in her performance, which makes it even more fun to watch.
Next, was the second round which made my stomach hurt because the finals were getting closer and I was actually starting to freak out. April and Stacey were too scared to bother me while I had my freak out because they were probably afraid I would snap at them. I took a deep breath and started watching round two. Everyone was allowed to use two pokemon, because the first round you were only allowed to use one. Everyone was doing their routines perfectly, not a single mess up. I can tell everyone must of been working so hard for this.
We are all fighting for the same dream, except I already accomplished my dream and became Kalos Queen. I wanted to keep my title and protect like if it were something sacred. I know I have a lot of people who look up to me, and I don't want to let those people down. I also don't want to see Serena upset if she doesn't win. I hope it won't affect our friendship if I beat her in the last round, if she does make it. She's a very determined and ambitious performer, that means I can't let my guard down.
The semi-finals is what I think has everyone on the tips of their seats. It's the last round, before only one performer will compete against me in the final round. I wanted to see Serena before she went on stage, but she seemed too busy and looked like she had a lot on her mind.
In the semi-finals are Shauna, Jessilee, and Serena. First one up was Jessilee sho used her Gourgiest and Meowth. Her performance was a little too predictable, but it was strong and passionate at the same time. I enjoyed watching her, and who knows she might even win the round.
Next up was Shauna who was using Ivysaur and Flabébé. It was fun to watch. She has Ivysaur use vine whip which lifted her into the air as her flabébé used fairy wind that surrounded the stage. Ivysaur then let Shauna go and she landed perfectly in center stage. Ivysaur then fanned away the fairy wind with vine whip and a beautiful mist spread across the stage. She then had flabébé use moonblast and Ivysaur use solar beam that clashed and created small fireworks that evaporated into a sparkly mist and they posed for finish. I was proud of her performance because she not only showed her pokemon's beauty but showed their power. It could of used a little more to it though, something was definitely missing.
