"That guy is really a pain in my...ughh forget it." I growl and roll my eyes. The ground shakes as I hear an explosion from a far. The pokemon look around for the source of the noise. Smoke then enters the room. I begin to cough as I see organge flames up ahead in the hallway. I look back to Ash who seems tired and he drops his head as he barely breathes. I run over to him and try to pry the bars off of him, but it's so hard.

"Your just going to have to leave me here." He says barely lifting his head to look at me.....

Everything fades.....to black....the dream...no the nightmare of the memory is forgotten as I feel myself being shaken awake.

"Huh?" I let out as I blink my eyes open. My vision is blurry at first, so I rub my eyes until I can focus right and see that Nate is trying to wake me up.

"What's happening? Where am I?" I mumble feeling rather exhausted. Pikachu wakes up as well and gives Nate a harsh glare. That's when I remember everything, the kidnapping, the torturing, the fire, and the almost loss.

"The doctor is here to speak to us about Ash come on." Nate says motioning for me to follow. Pikachu and I share a look before getting off the window seat and following Nate to the middle of the waiting room where everyone is sitting around with the doctor standing in front of them. They all look our way once we get close and they all smile at me.

I look mainly at the Doctor who looks at each and every one of us and nods.

"This hard for me to say but.." The doctor starts but I cut him off.

"Don't you dare speak another word." I say with so much emotion and venom in my tone. Everyone's head turn towards to me, but I keep my stare on the doctor who looks surprised of how I spoke to him.

"Excuse me?"

"If the next words, that come out of your mouth are Ash is gone you're the one who will need a hospital." I growl clenching my fists.

"I'm so sorry for her behavior, you will have to excuse us, please carry on." Nate says throwing me over his shoulder to my surprise and I bash my fists onto his back so that he can let me down. Pikachu jumps from my shoulder and follows us outside. Nate walks a good distance away from the hospital and finally sets me down on my two feet. I'm quick to swing my fist but he grabs it before it makes contact with his face. I snatch my hand away from his grip and growl.

"What was that for?" I yell out to him.

"Look, I understand you're worried for Ash but your behavior is out of control. Disrespecting adults and your friends? That's very unlike you Liv. This whole hardcore attitude will not help Ash get better. It will only distance you away from everyone you care about." Nate says as he looks at me intently.

His blunt words hit me hard, but I can't be angry at him, because what he said was the truth. I'm never disrespectful to anyone, I should stop my little pitty party and just try to be strong for Ash. If he were in my spot right now he would do the same for me.

"You're right, I'm sorry." I nod looking down at the ground. I let out a huge sigh and look back at Nate who's smiling at me. I roll my eyes at him and walk back towards the hospital. Pikachu happily climbs on my shoulder as we make it to the front entrance.
