I woke up in the morning to find myself with my head aching, I had no idea why. I got out of the bed and got ready. I walked out of the house, I realized I was actually pretty late, almost as late as Sayori. This time, I had this feeling I should wait for her, so I did...for a while. I realized she was taking longer than usual, I knocked on her door, no answer.
"Sayori?" I called out, "You there?". There was no way she would be at the school already. I opened the door slowly, I really had a feeling I should check on her, "Sayori? Answer already!", I was getting more worried by the second. I opened the door to her room, my hand was shaking when I turned the knob, "Sayo---"...and there she was, my voice stopped, everything stopped, when I saw Sayori...she was dead.
"Sayo--Sayori?! Why?!" I didn't know was to say...I cried and screamed and hoped she would randomly be alive, that this was all fake...this wasn't like reloading a game file, no, this was real...this was real life...how can I handle this? How can I handle my best friend being gone?! How?! HOW?! HOW?!?! HOW?!?! WHY?!?! Why did she do this...why did Sayori have to...
My vision blurred, I found myself falling, the headache I had grown stronger. I fell on the floor and laid there, and then it went black, and I think before it I saw Monika, smirking at me. "Don't worry, you will forget her soon anyway," were the last words I heard.
