So there is this book called "The Neptune Project". (It is a really good book, you should skip this rant and go read it. Spoilers ahead). In this book, there is a love triangle. In this love triangle, there is one guy that is obviously the better choice. One of the characters even bluntly says yo have whatever fun you want with Dai, but Tobin is the better choice. And I am just sitting here like listen to her. She only speaks the truth. The main character ditches Tobin (The good guy) to be with Dai (The one I don't like). I was just sitting there so mad. Tobin is a queen. His mom died and he supported his family. He has the cutest relationship with his little sister. He is cute. He is really nice. He would be good for her in the long run but no, she has to be stupid and run away with the angsty teen one. like he is kind of an asshole right now, go run to Tobin who is not like that. He is the best person in the universe who loves you. Go love him back he deserves it. When he tells her his feelings, he understands she is being stupid. He was like "You already picked him" and is still a queen and nice to her. I am sitting here trying not to cry because they would be the best for each other. He deserves better. He is the best. Wake up and run to Tobin Nere! When Dai has to go away Nere is like "Oh No!" and I am like that what he gets for messing with my OTP.
In the second book, Tobin is still a queen. He is the best human ever. He even sacrifices his own comfort for Nere! He helped her get over one of her biggest fears, is the best, and even finds a way to communicate with her when they can't talk to each other. Then Nere is like that is great and all but let me go to the stupid idiot in this love triangle.
The most horrible thing is that I am like the only one in this whole fandom that ships the 2 of them. The rest of them ship her with the stupid idiot. Like what? He sucks and I hate him because he is getting in the way of my OTP, like bitch move out of the way, he is way better. I hope there is someone out there that agrees with me. I can't be the only one. I hope she comes to her senses, listens to her friend, and picks Tobin.
