Under The Hood

Late Day

I felt the hot water rush down my back grazing over my bruised shoulder, water singed the open gash that was placed directly under my right shoulder blade. all the memories came to surface and I quickly chased them away with other thoughts. I wanted just to forget about my past and relish in my future but something was holding me back, something that I have been struggling with for the past 5 years, something that I knew was going to haunt my mind forever.

After realizing that my water had turned ice cold it shook me out of thought. I quickly grabbed my phone realizing that I was already 24 minutes late for work, jumping out of the shower I threw my hair up and headed to my closet. I had my first meeting today and wanted to impress my boss so I decided to wear my white button down with my black skirt, as I ran out of my room I grabbed my badge, brief case, and tan cardigan. Almost tripping down the stairs I slipped on my black heals and ran out the door.

When I got to the office everyone was screaming at each other and throwing papers around like a bunch of wild animals. After breaking through the riot, I made my way over to my office. Moving a stack of papers off my desk I noticed a note from my boss, telling me that since I was late the meeting was rescheduled and if I was ever late again I would be fired. Wow so threating I laughed softly and tossed the paper, what's so funny? I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around only to meet icy blue orbs, Ch-Christopher! You can't just sneak up on people like that! I yelled backing away slowly. Sorry, Sorry he said sarcastically, I didn't know what to do he was backing me into a corner, a smirk grew on his face and he pinned me against the wall, I instantly looked down and started blushing. Why do I feel this way I barley even know the guy. He grabbed my chin gently turning my head up to face him, but before I could get any words out, I felt  his lips crash with mine.
