Chapter 4- What?

 Misty and I walk downstairs. My mom takes Misty to some other room and points me into the room just past the stairs. I walk in to find it to be a study. I'm guessing Adian's study. He's sitting in a big comfy looking office chair. He looks up and puts down a pen.

"Hayden," he says simply.

 "Adian," I return.

 "Take a seat," he motions to a chair across from him.

 I sit down and look across at him. He looks back and I yawn slightly. He chuckles slightly. Alright, officially this dude is a tad bit, straight up weirdo. Yet I feel like I've known him my whole life, yet I swear I've never met him until earlier today. I'm sure of it.

 "What did you want to talk to me about?"

 "Something that you need to know."

 "Okay, am I like the true ruler of this magical country or something? Or better yet am I supposed to have the destiny of killing some evil dude? That would be fun; getting to kill someone. Wouldn't it be? To kill them with a dagger and cut out their heart then hold it and feel the sticky blood run down your arm. Then smear their blood on your face like warrior paint. Oh! Another way would be to battle to the death on a cliff and right before they tried killing me some handsome dude comes along and saves me and we ride off on his motorcycle into the sunset and live happily ever after!" I just realized that I was babbling... Greeaaaaaaaaattttttt.

 "What? No. Where do you get these ideas? Do you like sit and plot these things or what?"

 "Maybe. What's it matter?" Asshole, time to plan his death. Cue evil laugh. 

 "Why are you looking at me like that? Your creeping me out..."

"Oh nothing in particular..."

 "Alrighty then. The reason I wanted to talk to you is that your actually a princess. This isn't a democracy it's more like a monarchy type country. And I am the king. Which in actuality your my mate which is why your the princess and after we get married you will become the queen."

 "What? I'm the princess of a country I've never even heard of? And your mate... so that makes you what? A werewolf?"

 "I am not one of those disgusting creatures," he snarls and I bust out laughing thinking that it's adorable," I am a vampire. The king of vampires to be accurate."

 "And I'm the Queen of Cheerleaders," I retort," There's no way cuz vampires and werewolves don't exist it's just not scientifically possible."

 "Ah, so your one of those science is the answer type of people? Or rather did you have your dreams crushed type people?" I get a look on my face that confirms it for him.

 "Alright so I'll just have to reopen your mind to the impossible. This is going to be fun." Uh-oh, I don't like the look on his face...

 Adian smiles and what do I see? Two sharp teeth were his canines are. I gasp slightly and lean across his desk to look closer. He chuckles. I sit on the desk so I don't have the edge in my gut.

 "Go ahead and touch em if you like."

 I poke one and then touch the tip feeling the sharpness. He bites my finger lightly to show that they are sharp and will pierce skin. I look up at him. I swallow finding out that I'm right up next to him. Someone walks in and gasps. We both turn and look at the door. It was some chick. She looks pissed... What did I do now?

 I look at Adian and he's staring at the chick in horror. I look to see where I was sitting on the desk. I was sitting directly in front of Adian with him in between my legs... Well then... I scoot back slightly and Adian automatically grab my hips. My eyes widen. 

 "What do you want Jessica," Adian growls out.

 "For that little-"

 "Don't you even dare bitch."

 "Whatever." She flips her hair and turns and leaves the room.

 "What the hell just happened," I ask.

 "That was Jessica, she's tried for years to get me to date her. I won't do it. I've been waiting on you."

 "Awwwwwwww. That's cute," I say poking his cheek. He just glares at me.

 "Well Adian, I'm going to go find the kitchen and get some food if I can get down, off the desk. It would also help if you weren't holding onto me."

 He lets go and helps me off the desk. Then he won't let go of my hand. I try to completely ignore the whole "mate" part of it. I haven't even been here an hour and Iv'e learned that the myths are true, plus that I'm someone's mate. Too much at a time, even for me.

 Hey guys!!! I know still kinda terrible. Atleast you get to see a little bit of a dark side of Hayden. Oh yeah, heads up I changed who plays Adian so his eye color changed. And I'm gonna try to update every couple of days. I'll try to keep updating, but next month I'll be gone cuz that's the month I'm with my dad, hate custody crap. Well hope you guys liked this chapter, probably not though.
