AN: Hello all! I'm trying to update my story more regularly. With my struggles with loosing my daddy, I've found that writing has been a very valuable outlet for me. I'm able to loose myself in writing, and for that time, I don't hurt. You guys are amazing as well! All of your well wishes, kind words, and telling me how much you enjoy this story and want me to update it makes me want to write again. You guys have helped me more than you'll ever know and I'll never be able to express to you how grateful I am for that so thank you from the bottom of my heart <3
:: As usual, I only own my plot and OC's... Although owning JJ would be rather amazing! ::

Chapter 12
Being back in Houston was nice. Being back in Houston and being able to share it with JJ, was better than she could put into words. Things had been going well between Trish and JJ. They had been able to put that awkward day behind them and had been doing nothing but growing closer with each second that passed it seemed.
If the truth be told, JJ was falling deeper and deeper in love with her as each moment passed as well. He was no longer afraid of the feelings that were now engulfing him. He just was going to keep his feeling to himself for now though. He knew there would be the perfect time to tell her and right now just wasn't the time yet. Everything was still to new even though they'd known each other for so long.

Trish was taking advantage of the time being home to take the opportunity to clean up the apartment she and Chrissy shared together. Cleaning was never one of Chrissy's strong suits and she knew that. She took a break from her cleaning to answer her phone when she heard her text message tone go off.
She dropped her rag and headed into the living room to retrieve her phone.
Hey - J
She smiled when she saw it was a message from JJ.
Hey - T
What are you doing? - J
Nothing really. Just cleaning up the apartment a little bit. What are you doing? - T
Just sitting around the house - J
Sounds like fun :) - T
Go to dinner with me? - J
Trish stood in her living room, reading JJ's last text over and over. She was frozen. Butterflies swirled in her stomach. She suddenly realized what she was feeling. She felt like she was back in high school and talking to her crush. She realized she was smiling like a fool. She couldn't believe JJ had that kind of power over her after all these years. Her phone going off again in her hand pulled her out of her thoughts.
I guess I should take your silence as a no? - J
Well I was going to say I'd love to but I understand if there's someone else you'd rather take - T
Funny. Real funny. I'll tuck that little gem away in the memory bank and get back at you somehow for that one later. In the meantime, if I were you I'd get ready. I'll be there at 7 to get you. See you soon beautiful - J
Trish looked up at the clock. 5:58 it read. Nothing like giving a girl last minute notice, she thought to herself. She made a dash to the bathroom so she could hurry up and be ready.
The next time she looked at the clock it read 6:49. I'm impressed, she thought to herself proudly. She was already showered, shaved, dressed, hair and makeup done, and basically ready to go.
